I've done a search but haven't found anyone else mentioning this so I am betting that my old pc monitor is mostly to blame.
The game is extremely dark and I'm having a great deal of difficulty seeing the menus and a lot of scenery clearly, now usually it isn't a problem as I just increase in game brightness but the gamma slider will not move any higher and was infact set to max as default.
I was really just wondering if the full game will allow me to increase the gamma slider further? Or is the darkness just due to the demo being an early unfinished version? None of my other games are even close to being as dark as this so it's kind of annoying...
Aside from that though, game runs very well and I really enjoyed the demo!
(what I could see heh)

Go to your documents folder and look for the Dragon Age 2 Demo folder. In the settings folder, edit DragonAge.ini gamma setting. I used 1.35 myself.

Aah! thanks for that TriggerWolves, I feel a bit silly that I didn't think of that myself.
Set it to 1.50 and its all much clearer, methinks tis time to finally shell out for a new screen!

oh thank christ for this. I'm assuming it'll apply to the full version of the game as well. Make no damned sense the GUI slider tops out at 1.0
