I've been playing thru BG2 for a while now and suddenly I can't save my game because it keeps telling me that it "cannot save game while in dialogue mode." But I'm not in dialogue mode.  I've tried moving my party around, but that just brings in another problem.  Yoshimo won't follow my party anymore.  I click on any particular spot but he only moves about an inch before he stops again.  The rest of my party is fine, except that sometimes the game won't let me select my party. Anyway, I tried kicking Yoshimo out of my party, and the game started working fine again.  So I saved my game and asked him to join my party again, and the problem started again.  So it's a scripting error with regards to Yoshimo. The game thinks I'm in dialogue with him.
I'm running the game on Windows 7 with the official patch, a few NPC mods, and the tweakpack installed. The NPC mods all seem to be working fine.  I've never had issues with them in the past, anyhow.  Now, I read here (http://forums.biowar...650868&forum=10) that it might be a romance scripting problem with the tweakpack. But it's Yoshimo, and he's not a romanceable character.  Morever, I don't have the Multiple Romances part installed.
Anyone else had this problem??  I'm going to go back and try uninstalling pretty much anything that I don't really really want in the tweakpack, and see if that helps.  I'd hate to have to uninstall all of it, because I love the ammo stacking and such.     

Edit: OK, it's not just Yoshimo. I kicked him out of my party, and now Minsc is doing it (not following my party).  And I've uninstalled a whole bunch of options in the tweakpack.  I don't understand! I've used the tweakpack before!  Please help!!

You'll probably get a better response if you post the contents of your weidu.log file here (shows what mod options are installed and in what order).

Also, you didn't do anything silly like install BG2 to one of the program files directories did you?

also, can you be more specific about install order, do you have TOB, and which patch?

For example, the proper order for SOA+TOB is 

install SOA
install TOB
install official TOB pach (as this includes the SOA only patch items)

Do you have a fixpack installed?
