Just got through downloading and installing the PS3 demo.

Everything works perfect and smooth until one point. After I finish the "exaggerated" intro and go through the cutscenes between Varric and Cassandra, I am taken to the Character Creation screen. All the options are greyed out and there is the message that character creation has been disabled for the demo. That is all fine and dandy.

But how do I continue the demo after that screen? I have tried hitting every single button on my PS3 controller (the first one being X to select), and nothing happens. I am stuck forever staring at my Hawke just looking around and cannot continue to any other portion of the demo.

What's that all about? Is there a fix? It took an hour and a half to download and install... will be a shame if I have to go through that all again.

In the PC demo there is a "start game" option under the "name change" option.

Same, here. If that is where the demo ends, then they could have chosen a better way to do it.

Well, apparently it just takes forever to load the next segment. In the time it took me to come post my problems, I came back and FINALLY the "start game" option was available.

I've had this problem too, I guess I should just wait then? I keep pressing "x" but nothing happens. Sigh.

Just wait, you can press all the buttons if you want to, that is what I do.

If you look at the bottom right there's a loading icon (looks like a spinning circle). You have to wait for things to finish loading before you can continue.

Yeah I thought my game crashed too, but it just literally takes 5 minutes. LOL.

I hope the retail verison for the PS3 isn't like this .. that would be game-breaking.
