Hey guys just wanted to know if you had some of the same issues..

- DX 9, all graphics set to the highest setting within the 'Configue' before playing the game. But once in the game my graphics were reset back to medium, i know i can have high ended graphics for a fact so why is this ?  Is it due tp the fact bioware have taken out DX 11 for the demo ?

- When i log into my account i get an error saying i have no disk inserted ..But still able to play the game, but why the error?

- Cutscenes always has a pause moment (word loading appears in the corner)  before moving onto another bit of a cutscene instead of it being a smooth transistion, is this just the demo due to bioware missing bits or will this happen throughtout the game ?

If anyone could give me feedback that would be great.

Just a quick update about the cutscenes i have read further into the forum and found out i wasnt the only person with a highend PC with annoying loading times.. so ignore my last issue, sounds like something Bioware will have ot fix for final game.

But any information on other two issues would be great,...

Yeah, i get some..odd Graphics setting limitations

I can't select anything above Medium on DX9 or High on DX11

I've not really cared enough about a Demo to bother looking into why though, just hope its not 'restricted' in the full game ;o)

(and DX11 is buggy in the demo, which there aware of)

Game is optimized for DX9 at medium settings. For some reason, Bioware allowed us to choose other settings which has caused issues for many as they are confused by what the settings should be. I would not take the cutscenes loading as what you would see in the final product...just my guess based on experience with previous demos. They are anything BUT polished.

I tried it in DirectX11 but I dropped from my 100+ FPS to around 20-30 FPS.

Its still a demo so I hope they will fix it soon enough.

this program can't start because d3dx9_43.dll is missing from your computer

I got the same problem, getting low fps on high (i didnt want to imagine very high at that moment), loadings before cutscenes (and sometimes even during cutscenes), when conversation wheel appeared, i got a little lag (or how to call it)... here is my spec:

Intel Core i7 740QM (1,73 GHz)
8 GB DDR3 1333 MHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX460M 1,5 GB GDDR5

Its a notebook and I expected I can play the game at least at high fluently without any probs... can someone confirm they will fix the hardware optimalization until release?

Yeah, I had those problems too. Surprisingly, in battles the game ran just fine. The loadings during cutscenes were constant and annoying.
