This issue is not a game breaker for me just something I would like to see changed. What's a gamebreaker is all the garbage changes they made to the franchise. Definitely will torrent it if anything not worth a purchase.

All I see is a bunch of wah wah wah I hate women and if I'm ever forced to have a female character in DA2 rather than be bromantic with my Player Character's brother I'm just gonna pirate the game and babble in several threads about Elder Scrolls derp derp. Are you like 12 or something? Did a girl kick you in the nuts for being a fool once or something? If you only want to play with guy characters that's cool that's your choice, but to threaten to steal a game on it's own forum because you can't be all wincestin' it up exclusively with your brother is pathetic.
... Ummm ... did you even read my post? I have no problem with female characters you don't see me complaining about Isabela or the Orange haired chick do you? I just don't like Bethany's character and don't like how they are forcing her over another character who I would prefer to have. I came on a forum to suggest and discuss the change and instead I find you here antagonizing me for... well I actually have no idea why you are. My decision to probably not purchase this game has no reason to do with this issue which I clearly stated in the post you quoted. 
Oh I read your posts and your silly little sig. You played a 20 minute demo of a sequel to a game. Then came onto a forum making inflammatory and sexist comments. Then threatened the makers of the game with illegally stealing their product because you didn't like some changes. You haven't even played the game, you've only played a demo. You have absolutely no idea what the game is actually going to be like. Nor do you know anything about the characters, their personalities or motivations. You've mentioned how much better Elder Scrolls Skyrim is or that you will purchase it instead in at least one other thread I've read today. It seems like you are more interested in plugging Skyrim and trying to force the development team to make the game the exact way you want it rather than their vision of it. As others have mentioned you could rent the game and see what it's like, but your solution is to pirate the game and steal so you can still play and jab a stick at the "BigBad" Bioware. You hate the changes made to DAII, yet rather than not buy it and not play it you threaten to steal it. Sounds like a spoiled little kid who wants to have his cake and eat it as well.
How were my comments in anyway sexist? I don't like her personality? How is that sexist? And I do have an idea what the game will be like that's kind of why the demo is released? The only thing they blocked out were some cutomization features. The game is coming out in March, the demo they released is very much an accurate presentation of what the game will be like. They aren't gonna release a demo that's nothing like the game. So I do have an actually good educated idea of what the game will be like.
Yeah you understand the basics of the games mechanics. You don't really know much of the story hence you don't know everything about the game. You also referred to Bethany as a bimbo which is colloquially used to call a woman stupid, yet aesthetically pleasing, and often indicate that they are lascivious in nature or tools for lascivious men. Again you have also "justified" the illegal piracy of a game, because you don't like something about it, but still absolutely have to play it. "I've gotta know the story of that their game, but I don wanna give dem makers and writers no moneys duhyuk Ima show em good I bets when peoples keep stealin all their games reel gud like they gunna just keep makin em!" That is basically your statements, with a little regional flair to make me feel more at home. People with your mentality are the reason why PC gaming has become an increasingly deteriorating market(Yes I saw you mention you would be playing it on 360, I'm simply pointing out a situation your mindset has created). You don't think the people who created a product are worth paying for their product, but you absolutely have to partake in it to satisfy your own desires.
