You're right, the real world is not a game, which I didn't suggest it was. Because if it was the real world, women with overly large breasts would make note that they can often be a discomfort, especially during strenous activity. Some women with larher breasts refuse to take part in sports and the like at all because it can be more than simply a discomfort.
Hence a rising number of breast reductions in the real world.
People don't go up to you on the street in the real world and tell you to make them smaller because it's none of their business, it doesn't effect them, whether you're fine with them or not is your choice and your decision.
In a game it effects the players who choose to play a female Hawke, if they're choosing the female Hawke that is. Even still, this thread, and others, is proof enough that people care about the female companions as well.

Games slapping idiotically sized breasts on every female character in sight is nothing new. And no matter the justifications of developers, producers and fans - it will never do anything but market to the lowest common denominator. That's all it's ever been. That's all it is. That's all it ever will be.

I find the sudden mass of 'women' that show up in threads like this, across various forums, for various games, that suddenly have 'larger than normal breasts' to be the only truly irrelevant thing. No one cares about 'your' breast size. No one cares that you're female. People care about the game and the characters they're playing. You are not a video game character. Your breasts or lack thereof are your business. A character you've created in an RPG is another matter entirely.
You are right, there are people who don't like big breasts just like some people don't like small breasts. But they can really blame the fact that they belong in the minority. When they are making a multi-millions game, they will want to appeal to the masses, not the vocal minority. They want to make that multi-millions back and then some.
But whether or not they are trying to market the game to "horny teen boys" is another story(the covers all have manhawke on it?), because the way I see it, as I have already said a couple of pages back: The art guy just wanted to draw comic heroes(muscle men) and comic ******, simple as that. Believe it or not, mammaries size of a fictional character is probably not the number 1 concern of any art director. If it appeals to the majority, then it's a bonus.
At the end of the day, it's only natural to be drawn to big mammaries, a well endowed woman is a well fed woman(breasts are made of fat and ...sand?), and we would naturally want to mate with someone who is healthy. There is nothing to feel ashamed about! <3
