If the final game is as good as the demo I will have no social life for all of March. And if The Old Republic follows suit I will not be leaving my house for the next twelve months.

3/5? Disappointingly not my cup of tea. I'll take another look over the week-end, but so far no sale.

4.5/5

The only complaint I have is that you couldn't change the difficulty.

2/5 on the PC, 4/5 on the consoles. The PC version is a console port, a poor console port. UI elements that worked on consoles, DON'T work on the PC and the auto-attack animation speed makes animation cycling look awkward. There are a ton of other complaints, but I won't bring them up.

agreed...also, the occasional pauses in dialogue to load were annoying, but that's about it. 9/10

4/5 I miss the tactical view. I know from a technical standpoint why it was cut. The demo was set to normal difficulty, equipment and most skill trees were locked. I am looking forward to the final release. Opening up all the customization and DX11, as well as higher difficulty.

Extremely impressed by how BioWare have adapted the frame narrative i.e. how it pans from the conversation upon meeting Flemeth as her character model walks past the screen back to Varric, for me it works well I feel switched on while playing all the time, it keeps you on your toes, as a gamer in an RPG which can go on for 40+ hours it will be fascinating to see how well it plays, especially throughout the entirety.

4/5 for me.

I'd give it a 3/5. The animations are too quick and choppy. Also, why can I not cast fireball on a person? If there are a bunch of people bunched together, I shouldn't have to move my mouse around trying to find an empty spot on the ground. As for the art style, I can appreciate the fact that they are going for the whole "embellished story" look, but it almost looks like a flash game.

Man was I skeptical about this game, but the demo completely removed my fears about combat on the PC.

The actual attacks are fast paced, but it's really no different than before. With auto attack on it's just faster animations. The tactics of combat are the same as in DA:O, with some overall improvements. Of course the demo is limited, but given what is available to be seen and the reviews so far this went from a "wait and see" to a pre-order for me.

9/10

For it to be a console port, wouldnt it have had to be developed for the consoles FIRST, then moved over to the PC? From what i understand, they were all developed at the same time and i cant see where bit is console-like. It's just more streamlined.

also, since someone decided to insult all the people using the 10 scale, 4/5

Edit: Since someones got their thong on too tight. I'll edit my rating.

4.5/5 I just love the game. I can't get enough. Mage is definetly the most fun in my opinion.

I'd give it 4/10. Graphically unimpressive, the character faces look better than Origins but the landscapes look very bland. The UI is useable but very clunky and hard to get a feel too - seems very "console friendly". Voice acting was fine, no complaints about that. The combat was a serious step back from Origins and given that the demo was basically a hack 'n' slash fiesta that is what either makes or breaks it - for me in most battles I felt like I could let go of the mouse and keyboard and watch. Only challenging battle was the second ogre which almost seemed overpowered for the level the characters were at but I welcomed the challenge as everything else was easy. Lots of "Loading..." messages between conversations and cutscenes despite the fact I'm on a recent Alienware gaming rig. I'm sure the full game will be better in many aspects, things like the random cuts towards new scenes made this demo feel disjointed and almost a tech demo. I'm very much doubting this game will be as good as Origins or Awakening though.

4/10. No story (obviously). Relatively unchallenging (but dynamic) combat.

I am glad folks know how to read, especially when I say out of 5, being it's a demo, it's not going on 1-10 scale, yet with everyone's AWESOME reading comprehension, folks are giving it something out of 10 rating.

Amazing...

4.5/5 It is the RPG of the Decade, as PC Gamer Called it. I loved it its an improvement in every way over DAO. For those who are calling it an Action game with RPG elements they are missing out on 2 key points: 1. The fact that the demo is locked on normal w/o Friendly fire so you can be an idiot and still win, Nightmare will be completely different and 2. They fail to actually look at the abilities to see that the game has alot of strategy that encourages Building your party strategically and micromanaging their abilities (E.G. Warrior's are the only ones who can cause stagger, Chain Lightning does 600% more damage to Staggered targets).

Shorthand though, haters gonna hate.
