The PC demo looked damn good. The Rogue is actually a Rogue now, and not just a light to medium warrior ! I realize that a demo is just a quick over view to pique interest for the whole game, so I didn't have unreasonable expectations. Rating.... 4/5

Disliked the sudden loadings, the weird interface bug where when I press stuff, it presses stuff behind it (if that made any sense...), and the AOE-targeting (which will be fixed).
Liked everything else, actually. 9/10

1/5
Uninteresting, Cliche, and unnecessary dialogue
Ex1: Dialogue between Hawke's sister and the dude from the templar: We've heard it a MILLION times, if you are going to have this cliche conversation for the millionth (+1) time, give me an option to kill one of them to end the whining. They both die anyway...
Ex2: *Cutscene* MORE DARKSPAWN! *end cutscene*
speaking of cutscenes.....
Unnecessary Cutscenes
Ex (This applies to a majority of the fights):
Pre-battle: *loading...* (5 second vid of generic darkspawn coming) *loading...*
When Battle's almost over: *loading...* (5 second vid of hawke finishing off the rest of the remaining generic darkspawn) *loading...*
*loading...* Unnecessary conversation "HERE COME MORE DARKSPAWN!!!!" *loading...*
Boring combat
-For something that is supposed to be considered a COMBAT DEMO, the combat should be somewhat interesting. As it turns out, the first 3-4 minutes consist of you 1-shotting entire groups of enemies (tacticless, mindless, boring), and from then on consist of you spamming left click (again; tacticless, mindless, boring). Don't give me that crap that "it's not a full release". It was mostly revolved around combat, so it's not unreasonable to believe that bioware would actually try to glorify the combat in this, which they didn't. (Which is also an indication of how bad the actual combat in the full release will be).
ALSO
*Soul Calibur music in the Isabella cutscene, REALLY?!
* Myself (and a ton of others) are still SICK of darkspawn from origins. Why base the first 3/4 of the demo around killing countless hordes of darkspawn (reminded me of the end of origins, which is where I nearly stopped playing the game)
------
Positives:
*Graphics are better (especially spells), although they keep reminding me of prince of persia....
*Animations are much better
------
I'll hold out on buying this game for a while, until someone prooves to me that the game is nothing like the demo.

Maybe 4/10. The worst bit of gaming from Bioware I've experienced. The only thing resembling DA were the combat mechanics, so I'm thinking Bioware should have gone the Capcom route and just called it a different IP.

Someone cracked it open though. The thread is probably still up here somewhere. When they modded it to unlock the character creation and inventory.SirKillsalot wrote...

Assuming that all the technical problems in the demo is fixed, I would give this game a 3/5 now.
Things I am disappointed with after playing the demo:
1 ) I was expecting bad-arse fantasy medieval Commander Shepard... but Hawke sounded like a boy scout...
2 ) Wish there were "Good/Evil" conversation interrupt like ME2
- smack someone with an arcane prison when they wont stop talking would be fun.
3 ) Female Hawke sound great but her running animation is like... a drunk **** high on drugs...
[edit]
4 ) I was told that it would be more of a "action + rpg". Lies! It is simply DAO speed up a but + flashier animations. <_<

Yes, but I was rating the actual demo, not the demo + Mods.

6.5/10.
Because it only showed us the combat andMass Effect dialogue.
I wanted to know more about the RPG elements of the game, which appeared mostly locked in the demo.
The demo did let us dive a little bit into the skills though, which worked ok. But not being able to check the Primal tree was a bummer for me.
So in a summary:
The combat was decent. Also liked the voice acting, and atmosphere/theme of DA2.
To many RPG locks, but it seems to be nice enough in the full game.
Didn't like the dialogue, but I saw this comming, so it didn't dent much of my enjoyment. The illusion of choice isn't hidden deep enough (only talking about personalitty choice here, the action choice seems ok).

9001/9000 The cutscenes are amazing looking, archers took lots of steroids, fem Hawke has a beautiful voice, Varric is a ninja, combat looks so cheesy in an awesome way, I like the new battle theme, and many many other things.

Given the demo doesnt seem to give away anything... although some characters have a bad voice actor.
Flemeth has a good voice actor though, she's awesome.
