I have a very good PC* so put as many graphics settings to high as possible in the Dragonage 2 demo and am getting 7-8 frames per second. In comparison I run Metro2033 with MAX settings allround and average 30-40 fps, most other games 60-100 fps  so there's no way I should be getting this kind of framerate.

Is there something wrong / bad coding with the DA2 demo such that the grahics are lagging / not rendeting properly?

*basic components of my system are: i7 950 overclocked, 2 x GTX 470 SLi, 12 GB DDR3

I also read that a couple of other people may be having issues, could it be to do with SLi?

the demo is unplayable for me like this.

Cheers, krs

I'm not having problems. I have a Intel i7 860(normal) and an Ati Radeon Hd 5970 and I can play on directx 11 high with no fps problem.

Are you running in the DirectX 9 renderer? BioWare has specifically stated that the DirectX 11 renderer is bugged in the demo and doesn't run properly. Also try turning off V-Sync.

Probably an SLI issue.

Also The DX11 renderer works with ATI cards it seems but is bugged for Nvidia cards which causes all sorts of black artifacts.

Aside from the low framerate I have experienced no real issues with Directx 11 on my Geforce.

It's a bug in the demo. You'll have to switch to DX9 I'm afraid.
