Overall, impressed a bit, the whole idol part where your character is just standing there, and plays with their feet a bit is interesting.... I miss the whole "OH look a peny" motion that Orgins had sometimes...

Her boobs are big, but not absurdly big. I also take issue with people bringing up history/realism in a game as fantastic as this; we have magic of all kinds and humanoids that can survive their entire existence underground and not become completely albino, but nice-sized ****** is too far off the real-o-meter? I feel like folks pick and choose what realities they want in this setting. And then someone can say "Yes, but magic is a fact in their reality," to which I respond with "Izzy's boobs are a fact in there, too." The reality of DA:O doesn't so closely match our reality that we can start using factoids from our reality to complain about the realism in this game.

I like Izzy in that she's comfortable with her sexuality and is competent and seems to have a decent moral compass. She did free those slaves, after all. I'm pretty excited about each of the rogue characters, but particularly her, especially since I'm curious as to how her and Aveline will get along.

The only thing I've found silly about her so far is that she doesn't have pants so her butt is just left hanging to the wind. It just seems to me the woman ought to have pants on, but that's because her shift or whatever looks like a long shirt. That's really the only thing I found troubling; kinda like how Miranda was supposed to be this hardcore Cerberus operative but her outfit absolutely did not match the characterization of her personality, just accentuated her sexiness. So I guess Izzy doesn't wear pants for that reason, so all I can say then is that I hope her outfit changes later and she finds some pants.

What is sad is that Issabella is probably a very interesting and compelling character. She has a pretty face, but thanks to the art department gone wild, the only thing you think of when she is brought up is her boobs. I would be extremely pissed off if I were the writer.

There are two reasons why women are more sexualized than men. Note that as a straight male I may not be able to accurately say how attractive certain men are

1. Isabella isn't the only one with over-sized boobs. This is true of a lot of the characters, as you can see by screenshots (I mean, even Flemeth D:)

2. Men aren't hyper-sexualized to the extreme that women are. Yes the men have attractive faces and muscular bodies, but so do the women.
3.However the women have big boobs whereas for the guys "down there" doesn't seem to be exaggerated (again I don't spend that much time staring at guys' personal bits )

1.flemmeth does not have Oversized boobs, She has a weird outfit. But it's hardly Sexual. And Isabella IS the only one with Large(over sized may be Offensive to some) Boobs besides Maybe FemHawke. But Men on the other Hand will all have a SIx pack and Pecs the size of texas.

2.Women don't have Musuclar bodies except Aveline. Men aren't just Muscular, they are ripped to the max.

3. Women Care more about the look of Pecs/Large arms than a Bulge. That is what is attrative/sexual to them.

They made them obsurdly large and sticking out all over the place. I'm a woman, and even I can't help looking at them.  Nobody is focusing on anything else about  her except her chest.  You need to grow up if you think the world does not judge you based on how you present yourself.

I just realized, in the game we see her close up. And I have found being that close to a woman with a chest like that, it often looks a lot bigger. We've seen stuff where she's not so close to the camera and they don't look nearly as big.

Also: In high school there was this one girl who I ended up in the same english class with for three years, her breasts looked really big, bigger than Isabela's.

Well, in my senior year where we went on a senior trip, this same girl wore a bikini top and there was like nothing there. It could be she was stuffing her bras, but there was no proof of that.

So, who knows how big Isabela's would look without something possibly holding them up.

1) Normal  = where the majority of the population fall.  your friends boobs are an anomyly - unless she lives in a country that subsidizes plastic surgery.  I have big feet, I don't take offense to people saying that, because I know it's true.

2) boobs DON"T do that unless you do it to them  -hur hur hur

3) It's not MY problem, it's the writers, because people are not  paying attention to the hard work they put into creating a character - they are just looking at her chest.

4) I met the character in the demo - see # 3 above

5) If you are comfortable with you sexuality, and want dress to show off your assets for the whole world to see, thats great - but you need to be prepared for judgments that people will draw from that.  I would like to roll out of bed and go to work in my sweat pants. However, I know that people will think I am a dirtbag looser if I do that and my career will not go very far.  Therefor, I dress for  the was I want to be judged.

. . .You're joking, right? Do you have ANY idea how much muscle it takes to swing around a 4 (rough estimate based on sword/hawke ratio) foot sword?

1.You didn't say anything about normal, You called big boobs Absurd(that's the correct spelling) ABSURD: Ridiculously incongruous or unreasonable. See Synonyms at foolish.ab·surd  (b-sûrd, -zûrd)adj.
Stop Demeaning people just because they have big boobs and your insecurity and grow up

2.Yes they do, I've never seen boobs stick in. They all stick out smarty.

3.No writers don't have a problem with their characters, you do.And you know nothing about the writers or their Characters but claim as though all they do is Look at her chest(Her writer is female BTW) Again, Grow up and stop trying Demonize anyone with big boobs as invalid due to your distate or jealousy or W/e your problem is with boobs

4.For 10 seconds you met her but do not Know her whatsoever

If it's 20 pounds, Not that much. Nor will you build any considerable Muscle for doing it since it's such a low weight.

Also take a look at these arms: http://cdn.gamerant....died-Hawke.jpg. Those look muscular but not overdone. He's simply toned. Aveline has large muscles because she's wielding a heavy shield and sword all the time. Even Isabella is reasonably well muscled.

@Flemeth she looks like she's 70 years old. There's no way she'd have a body like that at her age.

EDIT: sice you posted in between these two, swinging a 20 pound weight (and stopping it) the way Hawke does in the demo makes the weight so much harder to swing. Add to that the fact that he's wearing heavy armor and you've got some serious working out happenign.

1. This is right after the Grey Warden leaves Lothering, so she still has the same body she when you met her in the original - an old lady's

2. Hawke swings it around like a feather because he's had to train his muscles to be able to get to that point. You can't just pick up a 20 pound (I have no idea how much a sword like that would weigh) sword and start whipping it around - Hawke would have trained for years to get the muscles he has, which are toned and not rediculously oversized.
