Same answers as always (DAO, exactly the same), in countless archives, as well as newer ones already since the Demo came out. One of the "reference" threads about the subject, and a new answer to a current thread in here prompted this addition to the older threads:
(As of February 23, 2011, when I am adding this edit, the DA2 Demo has been out for about 18 hours or so, and this particular error message has been appearing there also. In at least one case, by checking the ratio of height to width, for the video screen, and when found wrong, setting it correctly to suit the display, it has relieved the symptom.)

Incidentally, were you aware that was merely a slowed-down 4770 with another name? The real HD 4800s are much better that that Medium card with a High end name.Bramm wrote...

Minimum:
OS: Windows XP 32-bit with SP3
OS: Windows Vista 32-bit with SP2
OS: Windows 7
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo (or equivalent) running at 1.8 GHz or greater
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 (or equivalent) running at 1.8 GHz or greater
RAM: 1 GB (1.5 GB Vista and Windows 7)
Video: Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256 MB (should be 2600 XT or X1800 GTO)
Video: NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GS 256 MB cards (unless this should be
7800 GS)
Disc Drive: DVD ROM drive required
Hard Drive: 7 GB
Sound: Direct X 9.0c Compatible Sound Card Windows Experience
Index: 4.5
Laptop or mobile versions of the above supported video cards
have not had extensive testing and may have driver or other
performance issues. As such, they are not officially
supported in Dragon Age II.
Do you see any possibility of an eight year old video card architecture (Radeon 9600 se) being better than the HD 2600 series? No, there is no such at all.
