So, I've encountered this very same problem with Mass Effect 2 on the PC. The DA2 demo seems to have the same issue, where the audio doesn't quite match the current scene or special effect.

For example, in the intro scene, it takes a full 3-4 seconds before the audio for the dwarf who's being slammed into the chair actually comes through. The audio is very laggy. My gaming laptop is more than up to par, and everything is updated as far as drivers go.

Again, this problem has persisted both in this game and in Mass Effect 2. Coincidence?

In Mass Effect 2, I noticed this only occured when I was recording footage of the game with FRAPS and forced it to run at 30fps (for youtube purposes).. this would cause the game to de-sync the audio sometimes during cinematic moments if they were designed to run at higher frames per second (thereby forcing me to record at 60fps instead and let youtube mangle the file horribly)

Is the game running slowly (poor FPS rate) for you? If so, that is likely the culprit.. if the game can't maintain at least a specific FPS, it might cause a desync (poor design unfortunately if that's the case)

If you're maintaining solid FPS rate though, then that is indeed.. weird.

Didn't have a problem with what the OP was saying, but I had Flemeth start a sentence before she finished the previous one so they overlapped on all 4 on my playthroughs.

I understands what Sanala means. When Verric gets pushed into the chair and when she slams the book down, the audio lagged, slightly, but that was the only place for me.

Well, in Mass Effect 2 it occurs a lot when characters are speaking to one another. Sometimes they'll say entire sentences without any audio. In this game, the audio between characters seems to be more precisely synced. The game has a wonderful FPS rate for me >3<.

Last night, before I went to bed, I tried playing through in DirectX 9, instead of 11, and everything seemed synced. I know 11 isn't supported, so that could be the issue, but... I'll give it more tries today to be sure.

I still worry about Mass Effect 2, though.
