So ye, lots of users use their character portrait as their forum avatar, sadly I just cant figure out how to do this and it is driving me furious! My char looks awesome with his baldness, beardness and tatooness dammit! Do explain how to do this, please. Could it have something to do with me refusing to apply the new patch because it messes with the difficulty?

You upload your characters from the main menu screen. bottom left, then you go into your profile here and select your portrait as your avatar. and no, patch has no impact on avatar pics.

Yup, and thank you Anaraavi, it worked! The social network is down at the moment though so i'll have to wait... Well, this smileyface avatar is fairly awesome as well.
