Have ToB installed. I am using a couple of mods (Spell50 and Weimer Ease Pack). Started as a fighter and multiclassed to a mage. Both are the same level now.

The familiar is in my backpack, but when I right click and choose "release familiar" I hear the sound play, but it goes nowhere. I tried CLUAConsoling another familiar and while I can talk to it, I cannot control it.

I guess it could be the mods, but I would think the error would have occurred for a lot of other people prior to myself. Has anyone seen this before? any suggestions on what might solve this?

Beholder's lair (eye of the unseeing). But even if I load earlier saves in a town the familiar has the same problem. Any help appreciated.
