I can't take Bethany seriously as a companion. She's basically a prop.
You are assuming she has a personality.
This is not a thread to be mean to my little sister! I <3 Bethany. I just want her to have some fancy digs. If I'm going to be the Champion of Kirkwall, I don't want a sister who dresses like a peasant.

While you are assuming she doesn't
and frankly, with a few minutes of hands on time with her during the demo it could be either or. So just everyone wait until the actual game comes out and we actually get to see more of the entire cast than just a handful of lines as they run for their lives

You're assuming she doesn't?
She sure has some snark in her. *hoping for a less ****y Morrigan-esque character*
I know she said something to the effect of :
The nice templar has ceased his search for illegal mages. let's not question it, hmm?
On that note; Let's not judge until the final release hmm?

Well acording to Anders it makes "trysts" easier as you don't have to fumble with zippers or belts
But thats Anders

It is the current belief that in a build previous to the demo and a build after the demo, Bethany had blue robes.ishmaeltheforsaken wrote...
So, is the current belief* that that's what Bethany wears in the exaggerated portion of the prologue in the retail release?
If they were removed once, however, they can be removed again.

I see... so... they removed the robes for the demo (maybe because of the demo, but for a span of time that included the demo build)? That's weird.

Which isn't to say that it won't change. We do know that companion outfits change at certain points in the story. That's why my question was about

Well, no... that's the point. You upgrade their armor, but it stays visually the same. Only at certain points will their outfits change, and then it's for story reasons (like *spoilermaybe?* when Aveline joins the city guard and gets new armor).
