Was having framerate issues, so tried forcing Vsync, Triple Buffering and Threaded Optimization with Nvidia Control Panel, as well as overclocking with EVGA Precision, and framerate was still stuck around 30 FPS.

Tried to run everything as high as possible in settings.

AMD PII 1055 X6 2,8 Ghz
4 GB RAM

Are you trying to run it on dx11?

If so, then that is probably your problem. I was getting terrible framerates on dx11, and there are supposedly many others.

They said they would have this fixed for the main game.

Just play on dx9 and enjoy :)

At DX9/medium settings it ran really smoothly but at DX10/11 and high settings the performance is terrible and all we get is a few extra effects. It isn't really worth the performance hit.
If what people say is true that DX11 has a problem in the demo and it will be fixed in the full game then I'm glad because as it is now I doubt anyone's gonna take advantage of it.

Yes, you right. I Changed setting on DX9 and finish demo. So, what can i say.  Interesting, very interesting. I belive BioWare do something with bugs, because i buyed videocard for 400$ not for DX9. If I wan't to see picture like in demo - just can buy copy for PS3, but PC version must be better.

Peace, Friendship, GUM.

Good morning.  What are you doing up and around before even the first crack of dawn?  I have a terrible excuse, personally.  Anyway, his post is locked, so I can't question Ron Bartel.  Look at what he actually said in his comment:

The PC demo has known performance and stability issues with DirectX 11. These have been fixed in the final game.

We recommend that all users disable DirectX 11 while playing the demo, including those with high-end machines.

That makes the facts seem to be that the Dx11 option exists, but it is broken, and no one with Bioware / EA will officially discuss work-arounds or anything else along the lines of "Tech Support".

It isnt just a DirectX11 problem though, I am running in DX9 with medium and low settings and V-sync off (As I heard from some that it fixed this problem) But I still get crappy frame rates.

The settings mean nothing when taken out of context.  I have just read a report from another member about how minimal the demands of the Demo are compared to the official requirements for the game, so before we can discuss any jerkiness or other aspects of frame rate slowness (no such as "Lag" in offline single player games, of course), the hardware involved has to be referenced.

Exactly. The official line is basically: DX11 exists, but is horribly broken at the moment so don't use it - it's not supported.
It does however work just fine in the retail version apparently.

What I am wondering is why they even allowed DX11 as an option in the Demo if it was causing so many problems. Just lock it in to DX9 and medium settings and be done with it!

thanks for the tip that solved it :D

it is strange though indeed why would they gave a dx11 option in the game if it's not working/ with problems
