After every little dialouge or after cutting to a different camera, it has a load time os 2-10 seconds depending on if the next character who speaks is going to interact with an object.
It's playable, but quite annoying.
Also, I'm not sure if it's just how the demo is supposed to be or not, but the gameplay seems to move very quickly. So quickly that I wonder if all that heavy armor they are wearing suddenly became weightless. The characters run too fast and so do the monsters. It's strange.

If yes try it without AA.

I dont have AA enabled and had this problem, But i dont have that good a gpu (gts 880 640mb) so thats what i put it down to. it sad because it takes away from the intensity of a scene when there is a small (only 3 seconds or so) pause in conversations every now and then

Anti aliasing. You can change that in the graphics options in game or in the configure tab in the launcher.

I think they said in the feesdback thread that this problem was fixed after the demo build was done.

I have the exact same issue. Each time you select a dialog option or a new one prompts there is a few seconds of loading time.

I like the loading time thing. DAO would just skip in the situation - the mid-cinematic loading actually lets the game run.

Rather than make a new post about all the issues I had on the PC demo, I'm looking for existing posts to reply to. This is happening to me as well...loading happens over dialogue choices/sequences and kind of hurts the immersion of the game.

Google came up with 1,030,000 results for Alcoholic Anonymous groups. And I figured that wasn't what you meant.

That was someone else suggesting adjusting the A-A settings. When I used Google yesterday, my search was something on the order of PC video graphic AA, and that example was near the top of the list, if not sitting there at the apex.

Firstly, this is a demo, not the finished release.../../../../images/forum/emoticons/wondering.png
Secondly, update your DirectX to the most recent one and also update your graphicscard-driver.../../../../images/forum/emoticons/andy.png
Thirdly,
Configure the demo first, in the start-pop-up, choose "configure",
Disable v-sync, run on medium graphics setting, choose any
AA(Anti-aliasing) you want because it hasn´t been a problem for me in
any of my 8 playthroughs.
-This
demo is designed to run on medium settings, nothing else. If you want
the real deal, wait until the game is released with ALL the "bells and
whistles"(AKA higher settings). And for the love of GOD, play only with
DX9, not DX11 that´s not implemented in this demo.
hope it helps someone........./../../../images/forum/emoticons/smile.png
