Frameworks (any version) does not start even when i go to services.msc and try to start it menualy

the DA content downloader works fine.(atleast i think so since it starts)

now the problem is:
http://www.hardwarec...rigin_start.jpg
this shows a screen shoot on how the opening of DAO should look like but that news with dragon age V 1.04 or witch hunt does not show.

then when i start i get the DAO configuration utility (wich normaly only starts the first time you play dragon age)
+ it shows that i should Run as administrator. since there no othere users i am automaticly admin for my PC.
please tell me if i am wrong.

so oo well no harm till this point so i start the game with content downloader on. and i can do'wnload nothing. and see 0 of the content that is out. (this is V 1.0 if the game)

so i update the game by installing DAOA wich has 1.03 i still get the same problems in V 1.03
so i update to 1.04 still the same problem

so my guess it is or Framework that doesn't wants to start
or the game doesn't recignize me as admin and the rest of my PC does ...

Being the resident idiot around here and the pedantic sort I will say that I can't help whatsoever. However, I can't tell what sort of issue you're having as the problem you describe is somewhat...unclear. If you can clarify the precise nature of the problem I'm sure someone can help you solve the problem.

Windows sent out a big update yesterday for Windows 7. It upgrades Win 7 to Service Pack 1-- which isn't as big a deal as it was for, say Vista... but I digress.

It sounds like your installation was flawed to begin with. I suggest backing up any saved games, uninstalling, and reinstalling the game now that Windows has been updated.

still says .net framework 2.0 SP2 can't be installed (since i got 64bit)
setup will go on tho. and my framework is now V 4.0 can that be the problem?
and after reisntalling i still am unable to see any extra content.
I tried playing it in competeble mode still does not help.
and after installing awakening it is still bugged

wat is the importence of Framework  since i can't seem to start it any more.
every time i try it says that i will automaticlie go on when needid but does nothing.

any way ill try to make the problem more clear

Righty-oh. Just to narrow things down some more, which edition of DA did you install and what media? (E.g., Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition and Steam.)

Don't go flaunting your fortune; some of your fellow gamers aren't so lucky because we get discriminated against. *Grumble*

Reading the first post again...I wonder if making certain that the account you are using an admin account will have any effect. Again, just eliminating the simple possibilities.

No worries, it was made in jest.

Well, if the account is an admin account then we can discount the possibility that you're being denied access. (If it wasn't then there is a chance you're being denied.)

You may want to contact EA support directly... sounds like there's some sort of conflict with Windows going on here. If you go to support.ea.com, you can send them a detailed message describing the problem.

ANSWERIf your Dragon Age: Origins DLC for PC is hanging or seems corrupted, we have a solution for you. Follow the steps below to fix your DLC on your PC:

If the game is currently running, exit out of the game completely.

Press the Start button and select Run.

In the command line, type net stop DAUpdaterSvc

Navigate to My Documents \\ BioWare \\ Dragon Age \\ Settings and delete the following files:

Manifest.xml

Offers.xml

addins.xml

Navigate to C: \\ Documents and Settings \\ All Users \\ Application Data \\ BioWare \\ Dragon Age and delete the following folders:

Offers folder

addins folder

Press the Start button and select Run again. Type net start DAUpdaterSvc one more time.
