100 sovereigns a head?  Who would pay 100 sovereigns for an elf?  Is the gold content of the Kirkwall sovereign practically non existant?

Depends on the quality of said slaves. Are they physically fit and in good health? Are they young? Are they skilled blacksmiths, soldiers etc?

But we weren't told what kind of elves they were now, did we? And there were also humans, children. Perhaps there was royalty involved and he merely said the 'average'. Say, elves were 10 sovereigns but the royalty a thousand a head?

last time i checked it ... Dragon Effect 2 is supposed to be DARK!!! and MATURE!!! ROLEPLAYING!!! game ... so in the GAME world, where slavery IS common, whats wrong in having one slave, when my character can afford it?



Or you guys gonna judge me because i KILL PEOPLE in the game!!!! ?

We know prostitutes at the Pearl go for 40 silver. Drop that to 10 silver for a less great place. We'll call it five customers a day, less a silver to feed the slave and four silver to pay down the space they take up. 222 days to pay off the slave; everything else is pure profit. You do realize that with stocks it would take you twenty to thirty years to pay it off with just dividend payments, right?

You enslave Elves AND murder people?! My God!

Well LadyHawke has hers mansion. And Im pretty sure she wont be cleaning, sweeping taking care of it. So she NEEDS some servants. And its pretty much the same if she hire some elf or buy elf slave and treat him nice ... but still her armor must be polished, her clothes washed, floor swept and dinner ready! =)

From what we're told, they're random refugees.  Not worth the price of an epic magical weapon each.

Look at the way 15 pieces is treated in the City Elf Origin.  It's clear that the yearly wage for an elf is much less that 1 sovereign, and even that would suggest they'd have to keep working for a century to pay off.

Never said that ... I said that my mansion needs servant(s) ... and it doesnt matter whenever they are hired or bought ... I must say you guys are terrible at roleplay if this is whats bothering you

Actually that is a good point. Sex slaves are/were real.
