Looked about 3 pages back and did a quick scan to see if this has already been posted. Just in case folks missed, for those interested in in Assasssin's Creed - here is a link to Ubisoft's Live Action "Part 1" movie (Lasts 14 minutes).

GiantBomb Link (as this is where I found it, though I'm sure you could find it on YouTube as well)

I think it was definitely quite the PR. As a stand-alone short, it's alright... but from a fan waiting for the game, well - With us, we pour are "We-Wants" attitude onto Sacred Ashes and every little update (like Oghren finally getting released) - so I can imagine how excited you'd be for something like this.

A different marketing strategy, one I like as well - definitely has me more interested to watch the other two parts (not sure when they'll come out) and maybe jog my interest in looking to pick up the game. I found the first game to be repetitive, but a kind of repetitiveness I liked actually - so I'm wondering what kind of developments have come of the AC-II as I have not really been following it at all. Luckily, if I do even get it, it will more than likely be on PC so I have into 2010 to decide.

Awesome game. I'm still getting goosebumps from when I played the first A.C game!

Fantastic plot & Storyline

Amazing graphics

Very entertaining combat

And the way you get around is pretty much unique!

I still have a 10/10 personal rating for A.C, and I think after that live action I'm go ahead and give it a 20/10!!!

Have to say those two were my favorite thing about the game. Not so much that the graphics were spectacular (and they were well done) - but that the entire environment was very well done I felt. Also, I enjoyed simply moving within it and climbing everything. I liked finding the highest or most scenic vantage point. I enjoy a game where I can find things that I enjoy without having the game to tell me to do so.

Instead of having like 5-6 mission types in AC they are gonna have like 14-16 in ACII.

My stepfather was a Medici. I disagree with the idea that they were the 'rightful' rulers of Italy and that the Borgia were some kind of scheming interlopers. I assume that’s just the trailers though.

So they're using live action cutscenes?

I believe this Assassin's Creed: Lineage (three parts total) is purely a nice little back story for the soon to be available on consoles game. Setting the mood using Live-Action and Computer Generated Background - and getting those interested, hyped further and maybe those who have strayed, interested more. Purely, marketing to catch attention.

The game itself will probably keep to CG, my suspect coming from all the actual game trailers they have put out. Speaking of which, the game will reportedly contains three hours of cutscenes.

The production quality of that promotional series are amazing.

One of my favorite things about Assassin's Creed was Errol Flynn-like rooftop swordfights where you could grab your opponent and throw him off the roof! Great fun!

Oh yeah I remember that! How I as a noob crawled to a roof top in Jerusalem and fought like 5 guys upthere, swinging my longsword like a maniac!!! >.< Didn't realize there's something called 'TEMPLARS' who has the rather annoying ability I wish was meant solely for YOU called 'Grapple and toss'

*tripiditrip!*

"aaahhhhhh sh.......!"

*splat*

*Gets up with alittle extra health*

"Coulda been worse!"

*Gets shot by a sniper which I forgot to kill in the heat of battle...*

I believe the purpose of Assassin's Creed Lineage is to introduce you to Ezio's family so that you will start to care about them. This will help you take on Ezio's feelings in the game as a great deal of his motivation has to do with his family.

Whoa cool! I hope there is a part 2, part 3, part 4 and many many parts after that!

I have played the first game and really enjoyed it, the eagle is my God! I actually bought the ps3 just for that.

But I liked the old assassin clothes than this one. If I were a male, I would get those clothes haha ^^ oh wait, I'll do that anyway! xD
