Is it intentional that onehanded swords have three times the dps of twohanded ones? Seems rather absurd.

I believe yes, 2 handed swords do AoE dmg on each swing.
I believe someone from Bioware said that rogues where ment for higher single target dps compared to the warrior.
While the warrior shreds multiple foes faster.

Can't say I noticed any AOE damage with normal attacks, just when using attack skills. 2H attacks should be higher dps than 1H+shield to make up for the lack of protection. After all it is supposed to be the offensive build while a shield tank clearly is defensive.Zhriver wrote...

I agree that rogues should have top melee dps (at least when able to do backstabs) but regarding warriors, there should be a distinctive difference between 1H and 2H dps, and it should be the other way round.

there was a little aoe damage with normal attacks. There are skills that will make this a bigger factor later on.
