Bioware don't owe you any money. They didn't lie about anything. You merely changed your mind.

If you don't want it any more, you will have to ask the retail store that you ordered it from.

Bioware could've made the best ****g demo to the best ****g game EVER, and there would STILL be people who wouldn't be satisfied. Thus threads like these are utter pointless... Also, you could've voiced your dissatisfaction in the stickied demo discussion thread.

I'm not fully aware how or why Bioware was allegedly obligated to deliver the same game as DA:O. We've known for many months that combat was getting a re-haul, that the "spirit" of it remained to a degree, but that the delivery was going to be adjusted to what they believed was ultimately better (i.e. more fun, thus, profitable).

This isn't a "Bioware can do no wrong" reply; I'm not entirely pleased about all aspects of the game myself. However, I fail to see why, considering your apparent failed research of the game, you believe you deserve a refund, let alone from Bioware (who wouldn't be responsible for refunding you anyway, as the above posters have stated). 

Perhaps you could elucidate the matter for us?

Demo's are typically early builds anyway, they're not perfect. That's why so many developers put "THIS IS NOT THE FINISHED PRODUCT" before their demo.



I feel like Bioware should have done this, no matter how obvious it is.

Lilia, while I find the title of this thread absurd, I'll offer you an honest piece of advice: In the future, do not preorder from someone who won't refund you your money if you decide to cancel. Alternatively, only preorder from a company that won't charge you until it actually ships the product. There are plenty of retailers who have such business practices. If you find the practice of your current retailer not to your liking, tell them as much and take your business elsewhere.

I'm all for everyone having there own opinions, but care to elaborate on how it was miss sold.

Sure, you dislike the demo.. fair play to you, but miss sold? I canno fathom how this is to be the case.

As for the demo imo - HUGE improvement, much better then the dire combat on DAO.

Or perhaps when you make statements to the effect of wanting Bioware to refund your money when they aren't the retailer is just irritating to people. I know it was to me.
