I was reluctant with the Dialogue Wheel, but the symbols that go with it have pretty much eliminated my reluctance. Overall, I find the changes welcome, combat is much more streamlined and it will be interesting to see if the story holds up to the lore of DA:O.

I don`t really dont know, why people compare DA2 with Witcher2? No one play Witcher 2? Witcher 1 was good, but TW2 we don`t know. Maybe be c.rap like DA2? I like games like NWN, Drakensang, Fallout1 and 2, temple of elemental evil, baldur gate, icewind dale... All game today is for all. To be action, easy to play...

Every gameplay choice, I like. The aesthetics... not so much, but that's subjective and always will be. Gameplay improvements are spot on.

Yes much better then the Witcher 2 wouldn't you agree person who obviously didnt add that sig to your avatar to draw attention

Now why do you have to troll and then fanboys come b!tching why TW2 is brought up?

This thread is about CHANGES, The Witcher didn't have those things in the first place (but had a lot more stuff DAO didn't)

My sig is there because I support TW2, just people people support Tali, DA2, the crap from 02.01.2011 etc.

Don't pick fights, troll

What a marvelous warped mind you must have to think ill put witcher 2 on my sig and post negative about Dragon Age ya that clearly isnt the signs of someone needing attention.  Your so right clearly you are a unbiased fan my bad.

... and your boot licking is completely biased, I presume?

I love:

1- Weapons' art, size and animations(swings and stuff) .

2-Each and Every Single Fighting Skill... they just ROCK!!.. Animations, damage, the difference in the effect if they die.. all of it.

3- The companion's looks and reactions.. Bethany is just sooooo HOT!.. too bad she's Hawke's sister.. why did SHE have to be his sister?? just put anyone else! x.x.

4- The Graphics! Oh My God!... my mom saw the game and was like " How did you get this movie? I didn't know Xbox can show movies!"

5- And finally the story! I can tell that its so friggin' awesome already!

Bioware.. EA.. You are such a Blessing!

Like all changes? No, that'd be a little over the top, but I like the majority. Only things I'm not so hooked on so far would be the new skill trees, and certain aspects of the visual design. Not the characters and landscape, but the interface. The character portraits didn't really blend in, and the journal/character screen looks a bit off. Really minor details, though, and overall I'm pleased. Then again, I freely admit that I prefer ME to DOA, so I'm cool with "Dragon Effect".

Even the most pathetic fanboy couldn't possibly love all changes. They butchered DA universe and spat on true fans in an effort to attract brainless console crowds.

Ah yes, because you, oh mighty "wowpwnslol" have sole rights to describe what "true fans" are of the DA universe.  Gotta love e-elitism.

The demo could have been a pile of literal crap delivered to your door and half of this forum would be saying it's the greatest thing ever.

Fanboys is the correct word.

No... I don't like all changes. I love many changes, but not all. Does that break the game for me? Does that mean I'm quitting my preorder? No and No.

It just means I have to get used to the cosmetic changes. I have faith that the story/romances will be awesome and that's really the entire reason why I want to play Dragon Age 2.

Do you see me saying ME2 or KOTOR was bad? Hell no, I loved those games more than The Witcher. Do you see me saying DAO was bad? (though I did dislike some parts)

I dislike most of the changes hence my negative posts. It's called CONSTRUCTIVE CRITISISM. Maybe when you get your tongue off BioWare's ass you'll learn it's ok to dislike something your favorite devs made, they won't hate you for it.

Even if you disagree about something let me recall you, that it doesn't kill to be polite and respectful.(Toward both of you)

So wait, because the game has gotten so much better thats nearly perfect for my type of playing -  I am a stupid fan boy ,huh?

Thanks, much appreciated.

But I'd still say the game rules DA O one hundred times over,.. and this's just the demo...

I'm alright with most of the changes - I like the voiced protagonist and the dialogue wheel, the change of pace in combat is refreshing, and the new levelling system has my interest piqued.

However, I cannot fathom how the PC lost every semblance of its tactical camera. It cannot zoom out very far at all, and it cannot leave the back of the character you're currently controlling. I don't understand how they thought that this was a good idea. I don't believe that line about creating interesting ceiling space, because DA:O had some intricately designed skies and ceilings, and I certainly noticed them. Even so, I would be fine if I could just MOVE the camera apart from my character. I want to be able to place AoE spells accurately. I want to be able to give commands to characters without having to have the view focused directly on them. Why they got rid of that is beyond me.

Ok tell me, why if first DA gets max score from users and critic, look here www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/dragonage/index.html
Why so much change in game? What is so bad in DA1? That i don`t understand,,,

There is no way you can even compare the two yet as only one of them has been released currently. The demo was mostly combat with some dialogue; DA:O and I'd say the DA-franchise is all about the story which we didn't see much. Wait until you play through the actual game before you start praising it to the heavens.

When you say you like every single change....yes that's being a fanboy.  If there was a double blind study done about the changes I guarantee no one would like every single one.

I can't say I like all the changes, but I don't mind them at all anyway. There only can be some minor things I may miss from Origins like Alistair, chatting with companions in field, etc ...
