I love all of the changes, I have disagreed with most of the complaints since I've been on the forums. Too many people complaining about realism in a fantasy world. There were numerous complaints after DA:O about slow combat and bad graphics. Now there are numerous complaints about the fast combat and changed graphics. You will never appease these people, so imo don't try to.

Truthfully, all of the small complaints could easily be fixed by the modding community. Hopefully Bioware continues to release the modding toolset.

as much as I enjoy a talking character... I like the dialog tree more, but it doesn't worry me that much, it is a bioware game afterall.

I liked MOST of the changes. The whole "no DW warrior" thing still makes me sad.. that being said, DA2 is still going to be great. And I don't like the changes made to the radial wheel (I'm playing the PS3 version btw)

Love it!!! Can't wait until the 8th.

When did everyone become AAA game reviewers or seasoned game devs? Many on these boards act like they know everything about these two fields - when in actuality they know nothing!

I'm pretty much happy about all the changes and will wait to play the full game before formulating any opinions.

I like the old DA more, it feels like the RPG part is gone and the combat system sucks

I just like how it doesn't take 12 minutes to wind up with your 60 lb concrete 2 hander anymore.

I do. Every single one. And I've more than likely put more hours into DAO than most people on the board.

I think it's unrealistic to literally like every single change; just as it's unrealistic to hate it all.

the statement is correct for you only ... it is completely possible to love it all or hate it all!

From what ive seen in the demo theres nothing i dont see as an improvement.I like the faster paced combat, the new visual style and am crazy about the fact that my character dosent waste battle time by standing around chopping heads off of defeated enemies or performing fatality's.

Yes im in love with all the changes.

You LIKE that there's no origins, no races, no tactical camera, no crossbows, cliff hangar ending, you can't change armor and different weapon types for party members, warriors can't duel wield or use archery, there's less specializations etc?

Frankly, the different races added very little to the story in the first one beyond the intro, and aesthetic preferences.  Not to say that I didn't like having the choice, but what we get in tradeoff -- a character with voiceover and stronger dialogue -- is a perfectly fine tradeoff.

I never used crossbows anyway, nor do I like the "tactical" camera; I always liked being on the ground with my characters.  I'm playing an RPG, not an RTS, and it doesn't feel like I am in the character's shoes when I am 100ft overhead.  Warriors never used archery in DAO because it sucked anyway, if you want to do that play a rogue -- real archers didn't wear heavy armor anyway.  Plus, warriors dual-wielding basically made rogues obsolete.  What can they do -- pick locks?  Bah.  I like that there is a reason for rogues now.  Specializations are less necessary with the vastly better talent trees.  The armor and weapons for party members DO change, they just have their own style, which is better in my book.  DAO only had a handful of armor models anyway, so most of the characters ended up looking the same or similar.  I like the new way.

I don't think everything was necessarily executed perfectly, but I do think that it is an improvement in virtually every way.

I like everything but some of the new art design, bland environments and the cartoony cardboard cut out cut scenes that is accompanied by a rather unconvincing narrator. Love the faster combat system and know I will love the story. Those are just a few of the things that I think make the game feel less dark and not quite as 'epic' as I would prefer in terms of look and atmosphere. The full game may eradicate these faults for me, though. I'll just have to wait and see. I am expecting to love it overall.

After I played the demo, I ejaculated uncontrollably and without intention on my screen. Afterwards I went to the computer shop and found they had the DA2-Ejacu-Cleaners....at a great price so yes I think I like all the changes.

Even the most pathetic fanboy couldn't possibly love all changes. They butchered DA universe and spat on true fans in an effort to attract brainless console crowds.

Don't be an idiot, they did not "butcher" the DA universe.
I've been a PC gamer since practically the dawn of PC, I loved DAO, and I love this game.  I'm just not a stodgy whiner with a stick up his arse because he wants every single RPG to follow his personal inane list of "true RPG elements", never to deviate in any significant way.  Pfeh.

I too think the complaints are and always have been extremely exaggerated and have never been worried about the changes. The demo simply reinforced this belief for me.

I guess some people really have nothing better to do

Ok tell me, why if first DA gets max score from users and critic, look here www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/dragonage/index.html
Why so much change in game? What is so bad in DA1? That i don`t understand,,,

Because when you create something well liked and succesful you should make virtualy no changes for any sequals in order to recreate the succese of the first game. Just look at all the franchises that are still going strong after many years of new games that are samey rehashes of the first, this is the example bioware should follow with its franchises to ensure maximum profits for the all mighty EA games.

I like most of them. I'd prefer to zoom out far with the camera like the olden days, but I didn't find that it hampered me (some other people seem to have issues with it though).

Agreed. The only thing that's going to get irritating is the tiny text. You'd think Bioware would have fixed that after Mass Effect 2.

I like, or at least don't mind in some cases, all the changes bar the camera. It needs to zoom out a bit more or detach IMO, although I got used to setting up AOE attacks with the DA2 version after a bit of practice so it's hardly a critical fault.
