Truthfully, all of the small complaints could easily be fixed by the modding community. Hopefully Bioware continues to release the modding toolset.

When did everyone become AAA game reviewers or seasoned game devs? Many on these boards act like they know everything about these two fields - when in actuality they know nothing!
I'm pretty much happy about all the changes and will wait to play the full game before formulating any opinions.

I think it's unrealistic to literally like every single change; just as it's unrealistic to hate it all.
the statement is correct for you only ... it is completely possible to love it all or hate it all!

You LIKE that there's no origins, no races, no tactical camera, no crossbows, cliff hangar ending, you can't change armor and different weapon types for party members, warriors can't duel wield or use archery, there's less specializations etc?
Frankly, the different races added very little to the story in the first one beyond the intro, and aesthetic preferences. Not to say that I didn't like having the choice, but what we get in tradeoff -- a character with voiceover and stronger dialogue -- is a perfectly fine tradeoff.
I never used crossbows anyway, nor do I like the "tactical" camera; I always liked being on the ground with my characters. I'm playing an RPG, not an RTS, and it doesn't feel like I am in the character's shoes when I am 100ft overhead. Warriors never used archery in DAO because it sucked anyway, if you want to do that play a rogue -- real archers didn't wear heavy armor anyway. Plus, warriors dual-wielding basically made rogues obsolete. What can they do -- pick locks? Bah. I like that there is a reason for rogues now. Specializations are less necessary with the vastly better talent trees. The armor and weapons for party members DO change, they just have their own style, which is better in my book. DAO only had a handful of armor models anyway, so most of the characters ended up looking the same or similar. I like the new way.
I don't think everything was necessarily executed perfectly, but I do think that it is an improvement in virtually every way.

After I played the demo, I ejaculated uncontrollably and without intention on my screen. Afterwards I went to the computer shop and found they had the DA2-Ejacu-Cleaners....at a great price so yes I think I like all the changes.

Even the most pathetic fanboy couldn't possibly love all changes. They butchered DA universe and spat on true fans in an effort to attract brainless console crowds.
Don't be an idiot, they did not "butcher" the DA universe.
I've been a PC gamer since practically the dawn of PC, I loved DAO, and I love this game. I'm just not a stodgy whiner with a stick up his arse because he wants every single RPG to follow his personal inane list of "true RPG elements", never to deviate in any significant way. Pfeh.

Because when you create something well liked and succesful you should make virtualy no changes for any sequals in order to recreate the succese of the first game. Just look at all the franchises that are still going strong after many years of new games that are samey rehashes of the first, this is the example bioware should follow with its franchises to ensure maximum profits for the all mighty EA games.FreeMayk wrote...

I guess some people really have nothing better to do
Ok tell me, why if first DA gets max score from users and critic, look here www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/dragonage/index.html.
