I just realized I accidently linked my EA account to a gold trail of xbox live instead of my main silver account. I used the gold trail to download the demo and I forgot to switch profiles when I played it. Apparently an EA account can only be linked to one xbox gamertag but I can't find a way to change it. Does anyone know how I could do this? Thanks.

I think you need to send a mail to Ea-support or ask on xbox forums thats a tricky one if you cant use the same EA-account on your main silver.
