How do I associate my talk table id's with the xls Name/Desc ref values?

I'm curious about this too. I want to create some new classes and found the string editor in the toolset but the values in tlk tables don't match the ones in the xls file. I know with the previous toolset setups (NWN, NWN2, etc) the string ref had to be converted. Is this still the case or am I missing something?
