BioWare has partnered with Epic Weapons to create some truely excellent new Dragon Age items. You can purchase the all new Staffsword for your desktop. You can buy pendants or coasters. You can buy the letter openers and you can buy full sized replicas of the Grey Warden sword or the Darkspawn greatsword.

And now, for a limited time, if you purchase $15 or more from Epic Weapons Dragon Age products you will also get a code for The Ring of Whispers that you can use in Dragon Age 2. So order a couple of pendants, a new staffsword for your desk or one of the awesome full sized replica swords and get your Ring of Whispers before time runs out. :)

I stopped by the Epic Weapons home "store" today since it is in my hometown (Melbourne, Florida). Truly awesome people there. They showed me and my wife all of their products including Frostmourne and the Grey Warden replica sword. They also let us handle the life sized Dead Space plasma cutter rifle which actually has real working lights and everything. They showed us some of their prototype products they are working on as well for Dragon Age 2, but I don't want to spoil them here to get anyone in trouble. Needless to say though they are pretty awesome. I ended up buying a set of the coasters and my wife bought three of the pendants so that we could both get the DLC code. They invited us to come back next week to check out a life sized replica of the Staff of Parlathen that they are showing off. Great and awesome people, very friendly.

Considering a pendant and Grey Warden letter opener, might get the staffsword sometime in the future when I can afford it. :P

I appreciate the tie-in's but its beginning to get a little much. Why not just accept checks or money orders directly to EA to unlock god mode in the game?

Indeed, this is getting absurd.

-The Signature Edition preorder bonus was fine, rewarding loyal fans with a few items for purchasing early.

-The tie in with the Dragon Age facebook game is also not a big deal as you can play for free and it just helps build buzz for the games launch, however making it ridiculously difficult to impossible to play without pouring lots of cash down the drain to get a few mediocre items isn't my impression of how Bioware used to do business.

-The download the demo, link it to your account and if we get a million of them we'll give you items is also a perfectly acceptable promotion as it encourages you to tell your friends to download the demo.

-Meanwhile the unending stream of uninteresting DA2 lithographs continues...

-Now we have the letter openers, coasters, and pendants linked to more in game items...sigh

All you need to do is head over to the Star Wars store and look around for a while at the relentless merchandising and it'll make you sick. Anybody need a Darth Vader Toaster ? How about Lando cologne ? Head to the star wars store if you don't believe me. :D

At any rate, at a certain point this excessive merchandising damages a brand and the product its trying to promote, and I'm just hoping you haven't gone that far.... yet

Oddly enough I happen to need exactly one coaster. Too bad it's over priced. And who's idea was it to only give the item at 15$+ when most of the stuff people would buy are under 15? I can't image they would make more money that way.

I'm usually one to scrounge around for every code I can get, but this is one that I accept defeat on. I am not gonna buy this stuff just for a ring. It is cool stuff, but I just don't have the money for it.

Actually, I dont think its a ring but rather it looks like a rogue's weapon.  This would also make sense in that they have released a staff and sword already (mage and warrior)

Now I would pay $15 for a box of Sten cookies if that meant I could import Sten into DA2! And I would pay much more if I could have a desire demon as a party member!

So can someone from bioware clarify if this is in fact limited to 360/PC?
