I was going to order a letter opener and a couple of coasters, until I looked at shipping. There is no possible way it costs that much to ship those items.
Yeah, international shipping was appalling. Luckily I travel to the states often, so I just had it shipped a family member's address.

I would really like the coasters - just buying a house and need things like this (as I have most things already) but to ship to NZ it was around $125 with UPS or $50 flat rate. That's just stupid.
I really only need 2 codes, 1 for xbox and 1 for pc - just not sure if the codes are tied to the email address you use on your epic weapons account. Can anyone confirm if they know?

anyone know if you can order multiple codes from them? I just put in quantity 10 at $1 and I got to the checkout stage. Even still, $20 shipping is pretty stupid.

The codes are sent to your e-mail address you used to sign up with them yes. When I went by their store last week they confirmed that to me.

What about the shipping and handling the site tries to charge you? Maybe your local store might know about that, but the online help people either dont' speak English or don't care enough to answer the question.

I am really glad I held off ordering the Darkspawn letter opener (even though it looks really nice)

thanks for the reply dude. I COULD just pay for the coasters on 1 account and the rings separate on another. But they aren't worth that much - USD21 - so like NZD30 just for a code. And around NZD130-140 for 4 coasters and a code. Hardly what I would call worthwhile.
May check with my mate in the US and see if he is going to be over here anytime soon. Then again, even if I just sent them to him he could ship them over way cheaper.....

At any rate, at a certain point this excessive merchandising damages a brand and the product its trying to promote, and I'm just hoping you haven't gone that far.... yet
That won't ever happen. No one's forcing people to buy merchandise, it's not a big deal.

anyone know how much shipping is to Australia? also Once again VERY Dissappointed, Dead Space 2 and now this? ._. I like having all the items I can get for a game, but I'm not going to buy a completely unrelated game (I'd think about the pendant and coaster if I hadn't heard these shipping horror stories)
Well I had the coasters and pendants in cart, total about $50 and then I saw the postage to Australia $170 ...Not gonna happen now. I mean seriously $170 postage.

And they say I am to choose the price.
What if I entered 15 dollars there?
Shouldnt that enable me to receive the ring, while avoiding any shipping costs?

Had a quick try of that and they still charge you shipping <_<scyphozoa wrote...
You should be able to buy the code for 15$ and have it emailed to you with no shipping expense. I think most people buying from them do not care about the trinkets they are buying and would just as soon buy the code alone and not pay the additional shipping costs.
