No, I want The Warden to come back so we can expand on his story and continue and let him meet the First Warden Weisshaupt and also expand on the entire Grey Warden thing. Grey Wardens are kind of a big deal.
Yeah, but the Blight is over. No one cares, nor will they until the next.
Because they can't introduce a new blight in a new game, right?
It's clearly impossible.

That said, Cassandra from Dragon Age 2 might be a main character in Dragon Age 3.

Does anyone else want Hawke as your character in DA3? It would make sense from what little we know, Hawke has disappeared by the end of DA2, (he/she may have died in which case I don't want Hawke as the main protagoinst), and he/she has been called the most important person in the Dragon Age World. And since in DA2, he only brings Thedas to the BRINK of war, doesn't actually end the big war, he can't be that important unless something huge happens.
I've already grown attached to Hawke in a weird way and while I wouldn't mind having a new protagonist, (if we do, MAKE IT AN ELF), I certainly wouldn't be unhappy if we had Hawke again, (so long as we get our old companions as well as new ones). What does everyone else think?
Can we play this game first and see how it goes before talking about the next one?

Of course, it's also entirely possible they pull another Awakenings on us and ignore the story in DA:2 and give us some bit of fluff for the expansion again and we never find out Hawke's full story.

I'd like to see the next Dragon Age as a prequel, hundreds of years before the events of Origins, or set in the future hundreds of years after DA2.
no. that wouldn't make sense.
"ages" last only about 100 years...we're in the "Dragon" age. if they did a prequel hundreds of years prior..it..wouldn't BE "Dragon Age" it would be "Somethingelse Age"
same with a future focused one.
we have 100 years, give or take, to play with in "Dragon Age"

What's that you say? It sounds like Hawke is on some sort of drug? He is. It's called Hawke. You can't try it because you would die. Your face would melt off and children would cry over your exploded corpse.

DA 3 will feature "Wolf" as the protaganist. He will become the Savior of Moonray Market. Wolf is the stockboy/stockgirl of this small backwoods market and must figure out how to keep the market stocked during the Blight. You will make jaunts to local farms to bring back peas, carrots, and other goods. You will travel to Farmer Brown's Dairy to retrieve milk and cheese. You will be Savior of Moonray Market!
In line with the continued "streamlining" of the game there will be a single character class, warrior. You will have several weapons to chose from, a two handed shovel, a slingshot, or a box knife.

Juggle a two sided main plot with both characters decisions influencing the others.
That or the option for Hawke & New Guy or New Gal & New Guy? loads of options.
It would be like playing an origin, having a varric type cutscene break, then play the other origin!
Hehe well anything to make DA3 twice the storyline length of Origins and three times the sweetness of DA2.
To make sure of that, DA3 should be developed for a good long time, as it has to be as epic as TES: Skyrim.
