When I try to paly the demo I get the message "This application has failed to start because d3dx9_43.dll was not found.. Anyone know of a solution?
Error messge stating I am missing "d3dx9_43.dll"

Same as when you suggested those earlier, since there is no problem getting the program from Microsoft, it is far better to go there in the first place.
However, for the file itself, stick to the best-known of download sites, such as Cnet, FileHippo, FileShack, etc

Here is the d3dx9_43-dll :www.d3dx9.net/download-missing-d3dx9_43-dll/…download it and then extract the downloaded zip file to the system32 folder which is located in windows folder (that is located in your main drive which contains the installed windows)
