Played the demo today, and sure enough Hayder's Razor is in my entitlements list. But only for PS3!
Thing is, I'll be playing DA2 on a Mac, and (so far) there is no demo for Mac. But I have a PS3 as well, so figured I could play the demo there and get the item.
So, seems to be no way to get this item on a Mac currently, except to find some PC and play the game there. Or am I missing something?

I'd assume you get the weapon unlocked for the platform you use to play through the Demo. I used a PC and only unlocked PC.

I also thought that playing the demo would unlock for all platforms. Luckily I played it under win7 and got it unlocked for win/mac. Here's hoping the change it to all platforms :-)

I played through the PC Demo and received the promotion for the PC. I later played the PS3 version and received the promotion for the PS3 version. It definitely installs based on the system you used to beat the demo.

I just had an idea. Sign into your account on a friend's computer that already has the game. Complete it and your good.

Yeah I had this same problem, me Xbox broke and I'm waiting for my new one so I played the demo on my PS3 and I'll have to download and beat it again on Xbox next week cause that's what I played Origins on and pre-ordered DA2 for. Kind of sucks but what are you going to do...
