Well, I am not sure Varric seemed pretty awesome, I will have so much fun with that character. I really liked Isabela too, she's the kind of woman that I like to see in games, the ''looks can be deceiving type''. Flemeth surprised me, in a good way. 

Edit: Oh well you got corrected already, but I guess I'll just leave it in to put more salt on the wounds.

For people in your party? Hands down Isabela. I mean, a gypsy pirate captain who the devs have said is based loosely on Captain Malcolm Reynolds? I doubt she will ever leave my party!

If we get to pick Flemeth, then I'll go with Flemeth. The voice-acting was good, along with the facial expressions, etc. That aside, I did find Aveline's scene before having to kill Wesley somewhat moving.

I'm going with carver, his va put a lot more effort into him and it shows, plus the fact he's already jealous of you and Bethany, before you even start playing might indicate more character depth

I loved Aveline to strong, biting-back-the-tears pieces. From what I have seen of her so far, she is everything I hoped that a female warrior companion would be: confident, loyal, and capable. And she does it all without resorting to stereotypes.



I also liked Carver, Wesley (surreptitiously wipes eyes), and Flemeth, of course.

Flemeth, Cassandra, Varric, Isabela, Aveline - these are my favorites for personality, looks, and voice acting. Though I actually am in love with all of them.

I figured she was based on a porn queen. But, if she ends up having more depth than wanting to sleep with you, I'll give her her due when that time comes. 

If I was limited to potential party members, I guess I'd go with Varric. Never liked Anders, and while I'm giddy with joy that Gideon is voicing Fenris, he looks like another little gay elf, which does nothing for me.  Not feeling the Danish girl, and while I like Bethany, she doesn't seem like she'd outshine Varric for the top spot in my heart from what little we've seen of her. Carver is just a red blood stain to me.

So far I'm pretty sold on the updated Flemeth, she's just such a bad-ass now with that armor and her new look. I also like Aveline, she seems like a cool, level-headed lady that isn't hard to disagree with (unless you're the amoral type), looking forward to seeing more of her, and Cassandra, I love that voice of hers (and the name).

I liked everyone I met so far. However Bethany does seem to lack... For lack of a better word personality. While carver seemed more alive.

I don't really have an opinion about any of the characters yet. There was really not enough in the demo for me to judge.
