Honestly, Aveline got the most development and a good share of the lines in the demo. I already like her a lot, probably going for the battle-brothers route like I did with Alistair in DA:O.

I like them all but my favorite has to be Carver, which is a shame because the demo has made me decide I'm going to play a warrior first.

i really liked varric, he seems like a great sleez-bag buddy to have. i liked carver more than bethany, bethany seems a bit generic and boring. carver has that whole supportive brother but secretly resents and is jealous of your super magic powers thing going on.

I'm in the "I really disliked Carver" camp. At least I won't have to deal with him unless I'm a mage, he dies otherwise.

Carver, Carver, Carver, I strongly believe people who play as Mage hawke are really in for a great experience, he is sooo well done, plus Bethany bring up that they waited too long waiting for carver/hawke to get home from ostagar...how selfish, here are two people fighting for their family and Bethany is mad that they didn't run fast enough, I'm glad she got smushed by an ogre

Not enough info thus far. But I'd have to say Aveline, simply because the gal beat the crap out of a darkspawn with her bare hands! How can you not love that.


Also like others have said, Flemeth was awesome in her brief time on screen. Wish she was a party member, but she would indeed be way too overpowered......And yes, I would romance it!

Flemeth way on top. For some reason I like Carver even if he didn't say much, but I really hate to see Bethany die, even if I like Carver more. I think Carver remembers me a bit of Aveline's husband Wesley, who is, for a Templar, a somewhat likeable person. Also I find the possible rivalty to Hawke interesting. To be honest I picture maleHawke as somewhat of a renegade character and femHawke rather paragon. I don't know why, guess because Bio made sure to let the default Hawke look so badass.

But yes. When looking at the demo, I was pleased to see Flemeth being her usual lovely self. Mama Hawke seemed quite interesting as well, as did the siblings. Really liked Aveline too. And Cass. And Varric. And... And... 

Well. Can't really pick out an absolute favourite. Suffice to say, there wasn't any character in the demo playing my "Oh God, no."-button.
