So, I've tried to play the demo several times. I get to the point (right after the cutscene where the Dwarf and female warrior are discussing events) where the character creation screen comes up. Since nothing is editable, I click Confirm to continue with the game.

At this point, it says "Loading..." in the bottom right corner, but then freezes up and force closes. I get an error message simply saying "This program has stopped working....Windows is sending a report" or something along those lines.

The weirdest part is, I've made it past that part one time. Then I alt-tabbed out for some reason, and it become unresponsive after that.

I'm wondering if anyone else is having this issue, or if there are any ideas out there to help me through this. I really wanna play the demo! It's not a good sign for me if the demo won't even work correctly.

i7 processor with HD Radeon 5700 graphics card.
Running on medium settings, DX9.
