I completed ME2 on insanity.

Bow before me, mere mortals.

I beat ME2 once. And the setting was on insanity.

Stand back for this cool guy.

A Joker SR2 Ballcap and a Cerberus-logo'd Jogging Jacket. As well as a ME2 poster on my door.

Yes, they are all IRL.

I like the fiction (books and comics included), and the gameplay. I'm not a huge gamer, in that I don't play many different things, just a select few things. So naturally I spend a lot of time on those few things, mass effect being one of them (probably the main one).

Don't care much for a lot of the mechandise - I don't like buying/accumulating unnecessary clutter, nor feel the need to advertise liking a video game in public.

I've got the ME1 poster, the N7 hoodie, and Wrex and Tali keychains on my backpack. I have no idea where my friend found those keychains--I think it was Etsy, but I can't find them again.

Also, I met my boyfriend because both of us were geeking out over ME2.  DERP.

Arc Collins obviously wins this thread, but anyway:

-beat ME1 three times, ME2 eight times, including Insanity and all achievements for ME2

-X360 avatar wears a N7 t-shirt

-have that shirt in real life too

-N7 armor stripe hoodie

-Joker SR-2 hat

-have the Redemption comic in single issues, am reading Evolution

That's it. Just two notches shy of a total lunatic, I'd say.

I was just as surprised. Same for Nightwriter. At this rate all of the cool people on this forum are female.

I'm not really into "RL" stuff but I got Mass Effect 2 in November and Mass Effect 1 in December, and probably have over two full weeks of in-game play. Seriously. That doesn't mix well with college, let me tell you... And I've barely started to flesh the game out. I still need to do at least four more completionist playthroughs, just for ME3 saves, which will take over three days of game time each.

Beat ME I don't even know how many times anymore. Got all DLC.

Beat ME2 equally or more times than ME. Got all DLC.

Got the Mass Effect T-shirt and Garrus eyepiece for my xbox live avatar.

Got the books by Drew and the Redemption comic, will probably buy more IRL trinkets like a hoodie and will definitely buy ME3 CE.

So what do you have to show for it outside of the forums (anything applies).

I made post number 1 million or 4 million and earned myself a couple of cups, a pair of t-shirts from Jade Empire, a couple of hats and a few posters.

Lots of cool swag just for posting on the forums. Bioware treated their posters well!

Also, I **** a lot.

Hmm, lets see, i have completed both games 4 times each, as i always import from me1, have all three books, all achievements for me2 and all but 9 for the first. I also have every dlc for both games except for AP's 1 and 2 for me2, which i'm getting now. I've beaten both games on insanity at least once, and i am currently in the middle of another insanity playthrough for me1. Oh, and i have the full N7 outfit as well as the mass effect version of blood armor for my xbox live avatar.

On a sidenote, i'd just like to put it out there how crappy it is being a total me spaz with no other me spaz's to relate to. Other than these forums, of course.

I'm a fan, though I really have nothing to show for it.

Though I can see myself gettting an N7 shirt or hoody. I dunno Mass Effect is a series I have enough pride in that I have no shame in clearly making it known. Also it's obscure enough that people who aren't into gaming will probably have no idea what it is, sparing me any bad looks. Of course I already have Star Wars and Monty Python shirts so my nerdiness is pretty well cemented. Frankly it's more people I know that discourage me from getting such things since they'll give me the most flak for be a video game nerd.

Sadly most of my friends are painfully unware/uninterested in Mass Effect. Which is why I'm here to begin with since I really don't have anywhere else to discuss the game proper. Then there's also my parents/family. They all vehemently dislike video games and if I am caught with anything game related there's likely going to be a discussion about how video games are "bad". My Dad is the exception in that he secretly plays Starcraft in his spare time. Of course my family is painfully slow at adapting to current technology. It's only been until recently in the 5 past years or so any have bothered to get computers and or even cellphones. I dunno I can't control them, so if they choose to be technologically ignorant that's on them. Video games are just another one of those things they don't want to understand.

But generally I loathe to get anything that shows off what I like. I always have an incredibly difficult time finding individuals of like mind. I'm really not sure how I manage not to, bad luck in meeting people I guess.
