I'm assuming I'll use me, Isabella, Bethany, and Aveline. Outside of when they inevitably force me to include Anders, I'll never use him. I'll use Fenris on my mage run through in place of Carver. I may switch Isabella with Varric. That decision ultimately comes down to which one's voice wears me down the most. As much as I like Varric (one of my favorite characters so far), his voice is already getting old to me and I haven't even played the game yet. :/

4. Companion 4 will be a tough decision between Isabela, Sebastian, and Aveline.



I heard we may not get to choose through the whole game - I hope certain parties are never "forced" on us. I really don't like Varric or Merrill.

oh lord, i dunno.

i don't even know what class my first hawke will be, the demo did the horrible thing of making want to play all 3 classes so now i don't know which to be. its a toss up between 2her warrior hawke and mage hawke.



i'll want a balanced crew though. at least one mage for heals and support buffs with some offensiveness (though hawke will never be reduced to healer/buffer) so if hawke is a mage ill require merril or anders as my support mage as hawke will be the offensive one.



i'll need a tank, either aveline or depending on personalities either carver or fenris specc'd to be a funky 2handed sword tank. from what i saw in the demo it seems feasible as alot of the defensive talents are in their own "tree or web" and could work with them as well. (warrior hawke aint no tank!)



i'll also need a rogue! it always irks me if i miss a locked chest or something, even though in origins i dont remember anything super significant being in locked chests (which is a good thing) i still always wanted whats inside. so i gotta have a rogue. i really like varric so i'll probably use him and set him up as crowd control.



i guess ill wing it for the most part just find a party that works and that im happy with, though i always like to have my characters love interest be in my normal group as well, so i gotta work that in somehow! gah!

Depending on the difficulty of nightmare, I'd like to go without a tank due to me picking my party members based on the impression they make on me as a character rather than their specs.

Mages are squishy though so I can't get away with using one to tank, like I did in Origins. May swap out Sebastian for Fenris as a 2H Tank.

Depending on how I feel about a sasuage fest, I might switch Fenris for Ave or Varric for Isabella. NEEDS BALANCING AROUND GENDERS, just like DAO/DAOA.

Edit: On second thought, I might just do Mage Hawke/Anders for the hell of it. He better not be some ****y emo kid now that Justice is being all, "Oh no, I talked you into doing X and am now Z, making a distinct plot twist"
