I'm struggling with the camera controls in the Level editor view. From what I can tell the only way for me to properly move the camera is with the middle mouse button. I can dolly, paint, deform, and handle objects just fine but the ASWD is set to pan and dolly only. I can't move (other than pan left/right) or rotate the camera without the middle mouse button.
I'm using a simple tablet with a two button pen so my left hand is on the keyboard for shortcuts. I can't find a way to reliably paint terrain in this manner.
There needs to be a modifier key on the keyboard when held down controls the camera with left and right click, but I haven't found one. The wiki claims Ctrl in the Area editor for rotate with left click, this doesn't function this way in the terrain editor, it does a dolly with a multiplier.
Can anyone provide any insight on how one would actually control their camera in the level editor, or shed some light on how I can modify keybindings?
I feel like I'm trying to paint from 10 feet away with a brush on the end of a broom and I can't move my chair without putting everything down, getting up, moving the chair, picking everything back up and getting ready to continue.
Frustrating.

Check the toolset wiki on the page about the level editor. There are some instructions there about modifying the DefaultSettings.xml file to change key / mouse bindings. You may have to do a bit of trial and error to get what you want though.

Thanks Stunt, I've been looking. I was checking: http://social.biowar...hp/Level_editor
and didn't see anything about it. Any ideas?

social.bioware.com/wiki/datoolset/index.php/User:Languard I talk about my Wacom settings there. Assuming your pen has a button on it you should be able to setup something similar.

Thanks Languard. My pen has two buttons, it's a rocker button. I'll take a look.
