i'm guessing that i get this error is because I am on a university network with a firewall. assuming there is no easy way around this on bioware's end (I have tried tunnelling & proxy with what limited skill i have in networking), is there any way for me to get the equipment and also get counted in the "call to arms" promotion? [because i beat the demo]

*last bump* (by me anyway)
if this issue is too insignificant for a response i will just stop bumping it. (besides the promo ends soon anyway, kinda disappointed tho)

I get the same problem, but I am on a home PC.
Even disabling windows firewall doesn't help.
Is there anyone who knows of this issue, and possibly has a solution?

Ah, someone else who has the same issue I do. No clues how to fix this either, been annoying me for three days now.

I found the solution in an other topic.
To bad I don't exactly remember how I fixed it.
It was with changing something in a host file somewhere...removing all EA lines.
