I feel much closer to my player character if I've customised them. With the voice acting (as nice and cinematic as it is) already pulling me one step away from feeling like it's 'me' in the game, I need to do all I can to attach myself to Hawke

Male Hawke looks so much better (obviously) in the cinematics, but in game he looks...odd.

Customizing how my character looks is always a key element of a game's enjoyment for me. Even though the default Hawkes are well-designed, there's no way I'd keep them as is.

I like the defaults, but I love customizing, so I will be making my own faces. I'm one of those people that spend a ridiculous amount of time with the character creator.

I don't like his light brown eyes. I noticed almost everyone has these light brown eyes, what's with that?

I"m going to see how the CC runs, but I'm thinking I'll probably be happy enough with the default - I quite like his look. Not sure if I'll be playing femHawke.

As great as default Lady Hawke is, I can't play with a default face... ever.

He looks HORRIBLE!!! All the other characters, even the useless mother and templar guy look better than the original Hawke. It's like they decided to give him scrawny, whimpy features to make him look young, and all they did was give him a pensel neck, sunken cheeks, high check bones, and a scraggly beard. It looks like someone said, "Let's make a hard core, rough and tough main characters, and then lets give him a healthy combination of AIDS and luekemia." He looks pathetic.

Haha I know what you mean.

I'll be doing that probably for male Hawke..I'm horrendous with female faces.

I'm not going to decide if I'll keep the original face before I get to tinker with the char editor. If I manage to come up with something that's cuter than the original Lady Hawke (not likely) I'm going with that, but I'm not deciding anything before I know what my options are.

Male Hawke looks fine in the CGI, but in the game itself, the beard is... unsettling. I'm definitely customizing a character to use in all playthroughs.

I'll probably change the eye color on my hawke to a green cause hers are blue in the demo. Hair color too but will keep the style, second play through might change the features more.

- Darkest skin possible



- Needs more like Isa's jaw structure



- I always max out neck thickness because I don't like small necks, plus it makes the face I end up with look ridiculous if I don't max it out



- I don't like when the bridge of the nose curves downward like that. I am a fan of the "witch nose" I had this one teacher with a nose like that, she was pretty.



- Finally, she needs plumper lips and a little more of an underbite (actually her underbite might be perfect)



- I actually like Aveline's chin and prefer

Despite my liking of Lady Hawke's default face, I will create my own. I'll keep the eyes tough. Dem eyes!

For main characters especially. Default male Hawke, Bethany, Isabela, Anders, Varric, Cassandra... you at least think they'd pick a different shade of brown for some of them.

Definitely keeping the face on either MaleHawke or Ladyhawke. I never got the whole customisation thing for these characters; I like to be able to play the protagonist that a game developer makes, unless he/she is horrific and annoying. I never changed the default Shepard either because it would just feel too weird.

Good thing LadyHawke has some seriously amazing eyes.
