I am playing as LadyHawke and keeping her the same as normal. I love the shade of blue they have chosen for her. Reminds me of the glowy blue eyes from the film Underworld.

She looks more or less how I would make her anyway, and the default faces always seem to be animated better.

Nope, I can't stick defaults, I plan to play a beardless Hawke. I hope his nekkid face will be a subject of mockery among Kirkwall's dwarves. A beardless champion? Why not throw in winged nugs while you're at it? By the Stone!

I think both defaults are fantastic, but because I love character creators I will change aspects of both defaults. But, I am happy to know that if I can't find fully satisfying changes that my default choices are amazing options to fall back on.

the option of customsing is too strong for me to fight. I might keep her original face and change her hair and give her some tats maybe. But im changing his face. I hate beards and he looks sooo old.

whenever i play games where you can customize the character, i always make them look like myself.

You can't do that.  You can use the original face without alteration, or you can design a new one from scratch.

You're not allowed to modify the default face.

Honestly, neither default really scream for me to play with them. Particularly not the default male. Stubble yes, but a full on beard? Don't like at all. And no matter how badass it may look in cutscenes and such, I'm gonna have to ditch the nutella smear. Just ridiculous to be wandering around for ten years with that stupid blood smudge.

Alot of people in this thread seem to be operating under the mistaken impression that you can edit/tweak the default faces. other than adding/removing the blood smear, you can't touch the defaults.



I'm sure i'll have at least one playthrough with the default face, probably female. but mostly i'll be CC-ing all my chars. i just hope you can make black people in this game that actually look like black people, not purple-with-caucasian-features.

I usually have the faces planned out in advance, but LadyHawke already looks like how I usually design my female main characters, so I might keep it the same.



Male Hawkes are going to look almost nothing like the pre-made one.

I'll change his eye colour to anything but what it was in the demo and i wish we had the option to make him more muscular as he looks like he hasn't eaten in six months

yeah, i'll probably keep it default. i like the defaults for hawke. it suits his voice fairly well too.
