I actually wondered how Varric explained this myself.

One person pointed out when you start the Demo where Varric tells the untrue story, Bethany's boobs are way bigger then when he starts to tell the true story, and I noticed that too. Bethany's boobs are bigger during the Duo with Hawke, and when you actually start the game you will notice her chest is smaller and not as firm.

Or, Varric took pitty on Cassandra's lack of breasts and reduce Beth's size to comfort her.

Maybe Isabela's breasts are actually quite small, and Varric has just been exagerating for the entire story. When you finally catch up to them in present day, you see the truth.

I agree! I mean, no offense, but Isabela and Bethany both dress rather... skankily, so why can't femHawke dress that way? Even as a mage your outfit is far more concealing than Bethany's.

I suspect FemHawkes propensity to wielding weapons capable of exploding their foes with a decent blow will do more to scare off any suitors than any amount of cleavage could ever make up for.

Actualy Hawke can undress so she is in her underwear while you cant change the armour of your companions

This is the first Bioware game where I like the default female character!

So true! I think both the deafult Hawke models look amazing. This may in fact be the first Bioware game I will play with the deafult model (apart from Planescape )

Which was actually made by "Black Isle Studios" using Bioware's engine.

And I'll still change her.  For one, I think she needs brown eyes, or at least hazel.  Then, if I can manage it, she needs freckles, or something else to add texture to her face ... her skin looks so plain - compared to Avaline's, for example.  After that, I'll have to play around with the hair ... maybe to for something close to what she has, but it depends what my other options are. 

Oh, right, but "boobies" .... seriously, how can you even say the word out loud without smiling?  I actually wish there were a breast size slider in the game, so I could decide just how endowed I wanted my Hawke to be. (and if they wanted to be juvinile, perhaps it could have effect on your persuasion checks, but negatively modify the distance on your backflip skill) 

Seriously, though, I tend to prefer modistly breasted tomboyish types for my rogues, and the heavily chested chorus line girls just mess with my character image.
