Everytime I try to get through the demo, the sound cuts out either at or before I meet Carver and always crashes half-way through just after I beat the Troll and in the middle of a fight with a bunch of dark spawn.

Does a cut-scene happen here?  Because I see a loading... message at the bottom before the demo just dies on me.  All settings on lowest I can find by the way.

Is that razor weapon worth it?  I've tried playing through it 4 times and I'm getting so frustrated that I'm reconsidering purchasing the full game. 

You would think the demo would be at least playable.

4GB DDR2 RAM
Windows Vista Home Premium 64-Bit

I'm going to try downloading the demo via Steam to see if it makes a difference.

My demo has stopped responding twice in a row now immediately after the character renaming screen. Hit go and it says loading, but no ellipse and it crashes. Pretty demoralizing.

I crashed at roughly the same spot previously.  After disabling vsync and turning anti-aliasing off, I was able to complete the demo.  No guarantees but it may be of help..

I don't know if this will help either of you, but I downloaded the demo via steam and it didn't crash on me this last time I played through on lowest settings. I'm going to try a run through on a bit higher settings for the next time.



Also, I was right...the crash happened right before the Flemmeth cut-scene.

I crashed right after the "um" 2nd dragon scene. Annoying there is no save feature.
