Has anyone used the survival skill(put any points into it) ? was thinking it seemed like a decent skill to use for a theme, but wasnt sure if it was ne good, sounded like rank 4 had nice perks

At one point a quest uses the skill, apart from that it's a nice skill if you have the talents to spare, you will see the enemies on your map which can help you with some nasty surprises if you're one who hate to quicksave and quickload.

It shows enemies on the overhead map? i try movin back and forth triggering battles there but being caught off guard by the wolf pack of ownage when im not payin attention is sorta nasty lol. so its possible to prepare for those more thoroughly with survival? oooh sounds nice

I had max survival skill, since there was nowhere else to spend skill points and my warrior eventually put points into pickpocketing.
At max rank, survival skill provides over 40 nature resistance. That's not too shabby if you ask me.

so when moving on the map, it shows enemies, but last i recall u couldnt stop mid travel, so they're somewhat visible when u first go to the map so before u go to travel to ur next destination u can somewhat pre plan?

No, they show it on the minimap, not the campaign map.

Survival is a good skill to put 1 or 2 points in, couse u can not only see if there are enemys, but also witch kind, handy to lay some traps out and lure them in, and the nature res bonus is always handy

By the end of my game I will have full survival, I like the nature resists and I like knowing what kind of enemies are ahead of me.

The description says it gives physical resistance too. Anyone knows how much it is with 4 points?

Give it to the tank -- free nature and physical resist. Well, free considering the points will probably just sit there otherwise.
