I cried when it wasn't in the demo =( lol seriously though yeah I really am itching to use the charecter creator because it takes me Ages to decide on a charecter to play. And I know that when I get the game i will sit there for hours trying to make the perfect charecter before actually getting to play the game =( lol

It doesn't take me hours, but it does take me a long time to make a character.

Those that take more than one hour are really meticulous, or they just love the menu music like I do. lol

its one of the things I'm looking forward to the most, if I can take a female Hawke that looks similar to the default and give her my own personal touch I'll be completely satisfied.

Dude, I thought that was my Warden as your avatar for a second there. Yikes.

Lol thanks, I worked on him for about an hour and before that I had several failed attempts.

I think he looks his part as the spoiled Ladies man youngest Cousland boy to Ladies man Grey Warden Teryn of Gwaren pretty well.

Check him out. I freaked cause they looked so similar.

I'm still pissed about the damn cheekbones sticking out.

I'll use the one closest to the default and colour it like Leliana's, if I have to, but it's definitely the style I want to approximate.

WTB colour wheel instead of sliders, BW!

A color wheel would cover all their bases.

Oh christ, now I got to say it.

ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US.

Considering the game can be modified like unto DA:O, I may do something based upon my FemWarden for DA:2. However, I've not yet done the demo on FemHawke but I've heard she does a decent job on the voice-acting.

I know that was one of my biggest problems, I ended up going with the plain preset at the end of the slider and worked from the ground up, some of the presets seem to have those terrible cheekbones.

Granted I think the pic doesnt give him much credit, it makes him look alittle derpish. But he's had some moments in game where he's looked abit goofy. But who cares he's rich afterall amirite?

That was very mean of them to put it in the demo and then say "NO TOUCHY!!"
=P

Blocked access to the Inventory was even worse.

Why get a demo out and limit it like that?

Cheap!

Whichever import I choose I'm going to try my best not to make Hawke look similar to said Warden.

I try to make them opposites in terms of personality (to a degree) and looks to keep things spicyy. However Leliana might get alittle nervous if Gillian Hawke and Aedan Cousland ever meet face-to-face, so to speak...

Well, its a demo. Not like you're gonna get access to everything.

Plus, we didn't need an inventory when we could kick ass regardless.

I'm importing my male Hawke, as he's the only one that made it through every DLC and expansion.

My female Hawke only made it through the main campaign. I might carry her over though.

I'd love that on a mage. Even though I'd feel like I'm stealing Anders' glowy-eyed limelight.

Ah, I only have main Origins (all the dlc for it though) and no WH, Golems, or Awakening. I'm abit bumbed by it but not too worried. And if they do have some kind of impact save for afew different dialogue lines then I'll maybe get them.

Do we know to what extent this will actually affect the game?  I have a complete campaign for my primary warden and one for a FemWarden but considering the differences in the story, I wasn't sure it would matter either way.

I don't think it'll matter that much.

But it doesn't hurt to have them ALL in there, right?

Yeah, that's probably true.  Still, my FemWarden died in the end so that may add for an interesting twist to the plot.

Both of mine survived. All I gotta do is run through Witch Hunt again to get the CORRECT ending to the Morrigan romance and then he gets imported.

As for my female Warden, she'll get imported later if I decide to take that route.

Eh, for my Morrigan romances I'll just hold wishful thinking and hope that they go off of the "They went into the mirror" ending.

For all the others I'll just pretend that once Alistair told them of the situation in Amaranthine they'd say "Amaranthine? I'm not doing that **** get some Orlaisian to do it or something. How many Wardens did they lose in the Blight again?"
