Add me to the list, I'd have taken that over the demo, that way I can see the hair options as well as presets to work off of (because I don't want default Bethany/Carver/Leandra).
Male (probably rogue or mage)- I'll probably go with blonde hair and blue/green eyes, fair but not deathly pale, something like Ryan Phillippe, with a handsome, boyish look that makes him look like he's in his early twenties, goes well with the sarcastic demeanor. I may have a bit of stubble or a small goatee, but not too much facial hair. He's sort of like my City Elf Warden rogue (my first import), who had platinum silver hair and ice blue eyes and romanced Zevran (a tanned blonde), except Hawke will be the blonde and Fenris is the tanned silver-hair.
Female Hawke (class undetermined)- A very pretty African female, hopefully DA2 has braided long hair (similar to like Alicia Keys has, or even the braids in the Knights of the Old Republic games), beautiful caramel skin with her makeup in various shades of beige/gold that compliment her features. She will basically look like a princess suited for Anders (...or Isabela...). Hazel/light brown eyes to accentuate her face. I'll love to see what Carver/Bethany/Leandra look like (hopefully she won't appear like the stepchild like my black Cousland did).
Those are the only two concepts I really have so far. As far as their class and whichever else goes that'll be March 8 when I get the game.
Well, they should at least have the complexion to match. I imagine you would probably have to pick an African-looking preset for them to have the right facial type, and then shape your Hawke's from there. I hated that adopted issue that so many of my characters had in DAO. It was one reason I played a mage so frequently.
I believe a dev mentioned somewhere on here that your family members will match your hawke's skin tone...so they should be as dark or as light as you are...which is good thing, because I'm definetely making one of my Hawke's favor my skin tone( which is more towards the medium brown completion)...

In the demo, (I don't know about Male Hawke) her eye's were amazing! The deep, light blue colour really stood out.
Hurry up 11th March!!!!!

Aww, c'mon, I know you're a guy; I remember you from the old forums! I was just going into girly mode because we're talking about making girl characters and their hair and makeup and stuff. I can't help it if you're going to mention these things!LPPrince wrote...
I no haz girly mode. I am manly Prince. No princess here.
But she'll likely romance Isabella. Rogue power!
You may have no girly mode, but I bet your Lady Hawke and Isabela do. And I like that thought, too--there's something about Isabela that invites thoughts of double-rogue power. Mine will be a fiery redhead.

I know you know. I just thought I'd state that for others who haven't known me for years like you do.
But yeah, you won't hear me talking about make up and eye shadow often, so take advantage of it NOW.

I planned to play mainly female regardless though. I can't wait to play with the CC because i'd like to see what options are available for female hawke. Although I do love her default look. Especially those eyes.
I *need* a CC for male hawke. I could put up with it for the demo but i'd never be able to play the full game without chopping that thing off D:

second that. too bad, the changes will include only their skin tone. I wish I could have red-haired Bethany...
and I love MHawke's beard! when I played male warden in DA:O, I never had one. now with DA2, when I'm done with my FHawke, my guy's definitely getting some facial hair

I did this with my Warden in my profile pic.
I did this with Shepard.

I also did this game's like Oblivion and Fallout 3, and I will do the same with Hawke as well.
But after I finish the main playthrough then I will play around with CC and make some crazy Hawke's.

Hairstyles will change also. I remember seeing a screenshot where Mama Hawke, Bethany, and Carver all had a caramel skintone along with differing hairstyles from their defaults.shale1987 wrote...

What a tease :b
Hehe, anyway, I am absolutely dying to use the char creator, and I will prolly eventually try to recreate my fav warden Ranvi, even though she was an elf... but that's not important, lol.
First time I'll make a totally new one though! For whatever reason I kind of want to make a blondie. We'll see 8)

Also, for some reason it makes me giddy to see what the custom family members look like.

Tho not deciding on what look I want 'my hawke' to have before I see the character generator. Ill see what I have to toy around with then decide. Same with personality, I know allot of people already are deciding on that but I would prefer to see how things play out in the game and what I can do with the dialogue options before deciding on a defined personality.
Oftopic: anyone download the Eve demo just to play with the character generator? If you haven’t I recommend you do, it is goddamn awesome! Not quite sure why the made it so awesome being that you only use it to create a portrait and never leave you ship but still.

I plan to make a custom female Hawke for my first playthrough. I just hope that I can have Cassandra's haircut... It's so perfect for my red-haired rogue.

oh, that's good news!
but I think I read somewhere that no matter your appearance, your family will always have dark hair, so that there's no dark skin - light hair situation.

As of now, I plan on playing a custom female Hawke, rogue archer. I'm imagining her with sandy blonde hair, in a chin-length haircut. She'll have a slight tan, from spending her days outside, and most likely grey or amber eyes.
But yeah, that could all change once I actually get the game
