I bought the 4 in 1 Baldurs gate Boxset and i installed baldurs gate 1 + the expansion as this was always a childhood favorite of mine and after installing the internatinal patch and copying the cdfiles over to avoid the innsert disk problems i came across some really weird glitchs/bugs once i was in the game

some sprites dont load correctly eg: a Noblemen will have a Begger model loaded
the sound of the Tutor when you click on him makes what i think is his death scream and so do a few other people
the Birds seem to load a guy sitting on a chair drinking So instead of seeing a bird i see a flying rainbow collourd guy drinking O_o
i seem to have the fog problem as well but ill get around to fixing that soon id rather know how to fix these major problems im having you can see for yourself here www.youtube.com/watch

my system specs as follows:
Windows7 64bit
Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz
4gig DDR2 System RAM
GTX 260 Gpu

Hope anyone can help i really want to replay the baldurs gate series

If you do a custom install and tick every box you shouldn't need to copy any other files. Hard to tell from the above but if you've installed & patched then copied over the install directory cd1-cd6 folders this may explain your issue.



Also, best to install to somewhere like c:\\games as windows vista/7 are a bit protective when the game is installed to the default folder.

thank you for your quick reply but even while doing a custom install i still needed to copy over cd1-cd6 to get to the main menu my copy works grate now aside form a few frame rate problems and the fog bug witch ill be fixing soon



so a simple install of baldurs gate and the expansion then copying cd1-cd6 then patch got the game running fine

yeah i laughed hard for a good few minutes the second i watched that flying drinking rainbow man fly across the screen xD!
