I know with the PS3 version it installed almost a 5 gig install to play the game.
I'm wanting to play the original on console along with ME2 to carry over a save, and looking at the Xbox 360. The Arcade version is $100 cheaper, but doesn't have the hard drive space for an install.
Can you play ME2 on the Xbox 360 Arcade...can you do it with ME1 as well and have both that you've played on the system?
Will Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 work on xbox 360 Arcade

There aren't many games on the 360 that installing is mandatory; ME and ME2 certainly aren't amongst those as far as I'm concerned.
Not entirely sure what the question of your last sentence is. But I think I remember reading the Arcade version has 4GB of space; and even then a chunk of that is likely gone for system usage so I am somewhat sceptical about being able to install any normal game on it.

You can manage them both! Just make sure you dont want to Download any extra stuff like DLC!
I would recommend you buy an Xbox 360 Elite instead they are slowly coming down in price and you get a lot more memory with it 250GB to be exact! With the Arcade you will only get less than a GB! No doubt you will want the DLC for the games so I would get the Elite if I were you! If you have a good Computer you could buy both of them for that it is much funner with all the DLC being free and the gameplay being alot better! Oh and dont buy an Xbox stick to the PS3 there is nothing wrong with the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2!

Awesome thanks for the replies. I already have the game for PS3 and PC, but wanted to play ME1 on a console and be able to continue with the save, so have the other two for d/l stuff.
