Hi everyone,

I donwloaded CPU-z a few days ago and have my graphic card and CPU checked:

CPU: Intel Mobil Core 2 Duo P8600 2.4 GHZ, 2.4 GHZ
RAM: DDR2 dual channels 4 GB
GPU:  NVIDIA GeForce 9600m GT 128bit bus, GDDR3, 256MB

My os is xp.

I'm thinking of running the game at resolution 1024*768, my main concern is that, can I have a medium setting
with a good fps? (>25) If the answer is yes, than I will be very happy.

Is your XP 32 or 64 bit?



Inevitably, a laptop's graphics card is rather weak with only 256mb memory. Still, that wouldn't matter much before we know whether your operating system is 32 or 64 bit.

That GPU is pretty low end. I would say at the resolution you want to play you'd get decent performance at low settings.

Oh, I'm not sure. It says on the system that it's a

Microsoft Windows XP, Professional Version 2002, Service Pack 3 DirectX 9.0c

I guess it's a 32bit??

I thought I have a "ok" graphics card though, since it is a GDDR3 version of the 9600m GT???

9600m GT and 9600GT have vast differences performance-wise. The greatest problem is your graphic card's low memory. As stated above, you may only be able to run the game at a decent frame rate on low.



The other, smaller, problem is that since you are using a 32 bit operating system, only 3gb of memory can be recognized in total(including the graphical memory). This means that although your computer may come with 4gb memory, only 2.75gb of normal memory and 256mb graphical memory are recongized.

Laptop graphic cards are never as good as their non-laptop brethren. I do think you'll be fine to run the game with maybe even a few settings on medium.
