Atleast on my PC everytime one of those cinematics are about to go off, the game pauses, and a small text says loading.
Its only for 1sec, but it really is a mood killer.
DA:O Didn't do this, the cinematics executed instantly.

It's even more noticeable on the PS3, its loading times are like 10-20x times longer than that of what my pc.

The demo is working off an older build of the game, and it's been confirmed that the loading is no longer an issue in the retail version of the game.

That said, there is now a demo tech support thread available. :-)

It's been said by several Bioware posters that the load in cinematics on the PC was fixed for the release. I have no idea if the same is true for the PS3.

I've had this too, but during the cutscenes. Like when the screen switches to another camera viewpoint it would say "loading" for a couple seconds.

A bit annoying yes.

When we're building content, whenever we want to use a camera move or anything that's not supported in the 'base' conversation editor, we make a cutscene. The way these cutscenes were originally loaded, there tended to be a small amount of loading. Due to changes in how they're preloaded (or something like that, I'm not a technical guy), this has been almost entirely alleviated in the ship version of the game. Occasionally, you'll see a small load hitch when a cutscene takes place in a completely different part of the level than the previous conversation/cutscene, but I can think of maybe three such instances in the entire game.

First time I played the demo it could load inbetween scenes for almost 5 seconds at a time. After a couple of playthroughs I don't see the "Loading..." text at all anymore. It's all good.

I am getting this "Error/Bug" with latest nVidia Drivers and with the previous ones on some cinematics not all. Is there a solution to this? I am using the 285.62 drivers.

Please don't necro eight month old threads, especially when your question has little to do with the topic at hand. You will be better off asking in the technical section of the forums.

I am sorry, I did a search for what is happening to me at this moment and this topic came up on the list. The OP describes exactly what is happening on my end so I posted seeking help.
