I really enjoyed playing the demo, the characters, the cutscenes, the sountrack,
the new graphical options (DOF, SSAO) and gameplay ones (Hide Helmet).

However, there were some things that really need working.

It may be that i played the first one and i didn't adapt to the change,
but i really preferred the User Interface from Dragon Age 1. It was much more simple, less confusing.
The icons in Dragon Age 1 were better in my opinion, these new icons all have the
same color and form (triangle, square), making it very confusing.
Also the life bars are uglier.

I really liked what you were aiming at with the Combat System, the goal however was not reached.
It Actually turned it into JRPG. Realism isn't needed to make the game fun, but it feels better when its not absurd.
The character attacks too fast, and doesn't have a delay in between strikes. Its all too cut, not smooth.

And the way the game kind of pauses when the there is a hit is kind of irritating. Also, because the animations are so cut and quick, its really hard to target enemies,
and if you were aiming to make the combat more fluid, pausing to target isn't really fluid, is it?

The animations should be a little bit slower, and smoother. It looks like there are only 5 frames in between hitting, instead of 20 and 30.

Right now its something like: Preparing, Strike.
It should be                          : Preparing, Striking, Striking, Strike.

Here are some Examples:

I hope you understood what i meant.

And also don't get me wrong, i love the game.
It is my favorite game so far, and that's why i am criticizing.

Exactly my impression of the combat as well. I prefer the combat animations in Origins as opposed to the over-the-top fast-pace in this one. Also the "leaps into battle" rather than "runs into combat" makes the action look choppier, like characters are teleporting to the target sometimes.

Also the UI, as you mentioned, is more console-style and not as elegant as Origins. The game still looks good and I'll be picking it up for sure.
